Is this the first Michelin starred Japanese restaurant in the country? Well, that can only mean that the reviewers of the super hyped "Guide Rouge" haven't got the faintest idea of what Japanese cuisine is. Even if you were to say that the restaurateurs' intent here was to create some sort of innovative mix between Japanese and local culinary tastes,... More

Didn't know where to have lunch and randomly saw this sushi restaurant! We decided to try it and it was the best decision ever made. The atmosphere was simply awesome and the stuff kind and well prepared. The food was excellent, we tried the nigiri sake, ebi and maguro, the hoso maki tekka, sake and neghi toro and least but not... I was able todine a Iyo to celebrate my wife's birthday. The only available table on a Sunday night was at 22h. We were tended immediately upon arriavl and seated in a nice table: even though of small proprortions, and quite close to other diners, it felt appropriate. The decòr of the restaurant is very tasteful and the staff is... More

Startling difference for the better compared to the average sushi places in Italy run by Chinese "restaurateurs" offering ingredients of dubious origin and quality coupled by mediocre service. There is a rather heavy price tag though. Don't expect to spend less than 60 euro per person, without wine.

We were spending a weekend in Milan and wanted to eat sushi one night. We asked the hotel concierge and he recommended this restaurant to us. We were delighted he did. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The food was superb and we asked the waitress to recommend some wine to complement the meal. It was perfect.... More

Abundance of sushi solutions, from the plain vanilla, ever popular ones, to more sophisticated. You will always ask for more. The vegetarian uramaki in particular deserves a mention. Only slightly negative note on the desserts, which were pretty basic and not up to the standard of the rest (for instance, the chocolate mousse was a very simple and not particularly tasty... More

Imho Iyo is the best of the 3 best japanese fusion restaurant in Milan (the other 2 being Finger's and Zero). However what is really outstanding is the quality of the service. The staff is partly Italian and partly oriental but I hardly ever experienced this kind of hospitality even on 3 starred restaurant. As for the bookings, I am... More

The restaurant has the perfect ambiance and the food is excellent! There is a perfect combination of japanese cuisine with a touch of italian taste. Excellent fish and combination of tastes, an incredible experience! The service is also perfect, all waiters are very professional and the sommelier is very competent and gives very good advice in a beautiful manner! One... More

Iyo is by far the best Japanese restaurant in milano. Quality of fish is fantastic and the chef prepares really great and particular creations. Great selection of maki and fantastic starters. Tempura is also excellent. Service is perfect. Parking very difficult. Book days in advance!
