Nice place to eat

Tiramisu yum yum yum... Good food, cool service, good wine, and good price. The fried gnocchi were so addictive I couldn't stop until the main dish was served :p

This place has a great table of cheeses (I recommend to try the blue cheeses) That can be combined with the gnoccho fritto, a type of appetizer that comes all the time to the table (once you pay 4 euros). really yummy, to who is Brazilian, it is close to our "pastel". The pasta of boar sauce and of duck... More

We got the name of this place of Milanese people. Leave all the tourist traps at the canal behind you and come to this amazing restaurant. We started our meal (of course) with the gnocco fritto and fresh Italien meat and cheese. After that, we have taken an amazing pasta. The dulce looks great but we where just full... We... More

A lovely environment especially with friends. We had the gnoccho fritto and it was lovely. The "bread" just kept flowing into our table. The taste is perfect just on its own but when you add the cheeses or the salumi it il takes it to a whole new level.

We were a group of 24 people and we were recommended to this restaurant by our hotel. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent and the staff so friendly and helpful, it's not an easy task looking after so many people and they did this very well. We had 2 vegetarians in our group and although we had already chosen... More

We booked a reservation here in the Naviglio area, and we were not disappointed. We started with a selection of salami and cheeses, along with their bread. It was all very good! The cheeses also came with some homemade jams. We also ordered pastas, and both were very tasty. It ended up being a bit more food than we could... More

Here you could probably spend a few evenings :) I really recommend the Emilia-Romagna style of bread - melts in your mouth. I had locally made cheese filled pasta - really great. Be prepared for a crowded place though - book in advance if possible. Only negative - Naviglio was dried out...

We really enjoyed this restaurant. We had never been before to a restaurant that specialized in the food of the Emilia-Romagna, nor have we been to that part of Italy, so we found it interesting to try specialties of that region. Gnocco Frittos are puffy pieces of fried dough which, not surprising, are addictive. This restaurant charges a higher than... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
