Want to really try how good do italian families eat at home? Then come to this informal yet cosy trattoria. The antipasti were simple yet yummy: mozzarella (you'll find out real mozzarella is not the plastic stuff you eat at home), focaccia, fried vegetables and thin italian ham. I tried Milan's typical dish: cotoletta alla milanese. It was really good.... More

We live around the corner from this local institution,La Primula and without fail it is always over-flowing with people. You are lucky to find a free table without a reservation. The food is simple Italian, good value and the pizzas are baked in a pizza oven and very good. If you are in the area, it is worth stopping by.

After we had discovered this little gem, which was close to our hotel, we didn't go to a different restaurant anymore for the rest of our stay. They have a great choice of dishes on their menu and to make some variations according to our taste was not a problem at all but the least that could be done.

We found this great little place with the trip advisor Milan app. It was just across the road from our hotel. Was very busy with locals but they managed to squeeze us in fairly quickly. Friendly service, great food and everything very reasonably priced. Would certainly recommend. It's on Trolleybus route 90/91 so worth travelling to! The profiteroles were wonderful!

Reading previous opinnions I think they should have had a bad day. We were 6 people, 2 had pizza ( it is difficult not doing well a pizza, but very poor and Boring). The stake didn't look nice at all, just the meat in the plate with cheaps. We had rissotto milanesa and it was only rice with safron, not... More

We ate here last week with friends and the service and food was brilliant. This is very popular with the locals and the additional free extras of bread and cheese was overwleming. The quality of the food and wine was brilliant and the total bill was less than we anticipated.

Friendly little place, great food, and very good prices! Obviously well used by locals which is always a good advertisement. Came recommended by our hotel- we suggest you book ahead. We went on a Friday night and it was packed!

This restaurant was very local to our hotel, therefore we went there twice for dinner. It gets really packed with locals and sometimes you may end up in a queue. They open for dinner at 7pm and its good to get in early as you will avoid queues. The food is lovely with very affordable prices. The waiting staff is... More
