Off the beaten track near Central Station, this place is just so incredibly GOOD. Everything on this menu is excellent. I've been here twice and leave smiling. The stuffed chicken (haan/rooster) is just eye-ball rolling delicious. The ragout pasta is sumptious. The desserts finalize the entire meal to perfect satisfaction. Our waiter was charming, patient and gave great advice. Will... More

Great place, classic italian. Great food, and nice surroundings. For Milano think it's good value a well.

A good, simple lunch service at a very reasonable price, as described by many others here. Dessert turned out to be mass-produced, extremely sweet, sticky and unpleasant in texture: poor enough to spoil the whole experience. Do go and enjoy lunch, keep in mind to leave while you are ahead.

After having discovered that this Osteria has in Gambero Rosso Milano 2014 three gamberi, and reading some of the reviews decided to go there for lunch. I don't mind cantine looking place or kitchens, but was really disappointed how this place got mentioning in the restaurant guide... We took a lentil soup, pasta with tuna ragout and something that looked... More

To be clear, I like this place, and have been here a number of times. For lunch it is a busy 'fastish' lunch place for the office worker in the neighbourhood. Worth visiting as it has a great lunch. However, it requires some understanding. Wait in line, pick up your food from the kitchen, go to the table and order... More

After the good reviews which I read on TA, I was disappointed with this place. The boiled beef cheeks turned out to be beef buttocks boiled with no flavor and served with different sauces. The pasta was forgettable too. I will not return.

This is the real Italian food. Simple but with great ingredients. Wine list is also extensive but not at all expensive. Many locals.

Recommended by my colleague. Great food, not at all expensive, visited by locals. No menu outside but prices are good. Not typical italian foods we all find back home in italian restaurants

My wife and I loved this place. Warm ambience, welcoming staff and owner, delicious food, extremely reasonable prices. The leek lasagna was fantastic as were the chees raviolis. But oh my goodness, the beef cheeks were out of this world. This experience will definitely cause us to seek out more "slow food" restaurants in the future.

I risk being repetitive here ;) Extensive wine list (I had a solid Cabernet Sauvignon from northeastern Italy, by the chalice). Great food, and a super-duper Italian cheese assortment. I had cheese-filled tortelli, battuta di manzo (a sort of veal tartare) and a cheese mix platter with honey and fig jam, plus a ricotta cheese millefeuille (actually only two sheets...).... More
