Puglia...in Milan - La Puglia a Milano

It's a corner of Puglia in Milan. Food is very well and I recommend a visit to everyone. There is the best food tradition of Taranto. Fish, meat (including the horse), dairy products, wine of manduria. The place is quaint and not cheap, but worth it. E' un angolo di Puglia a Milano. Si mangia... read more

My girlfriend and i had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The pasta and wine recommended by the English speaking waiter were lovely. Only downside was they ran out of Tiramisu but this didn't spoil our day. Highly recommended for English speaking tourists who want to taste a little bit of Italy away from the usual tourist spots.

Nice atmosphere, helpful staff and excellent food. I've been there 2 times during the weekend in Milano and both dinners were excellent. I recommend you visit this restaurant

This place has an extensive menu, a good buffet, options for vegetarians and a fantastic frenetic atmosphere. For a Friday night we were pleased to have emailed a reservation - it was heaving. Still, the service was fast. The little ears pasta with turnip tops was really tasty and unusual. Good portion size. The soup of chick peas was filling.... More

Great meal here, antipasti buffet to start followed by the classic pasta and beans. Make sure try the chilli oil - brilliant southern Italy cooking. Really looked after the children, and even helped us with tickets for the tram.

I used to live in Milan but never got a chance to eat at Pasta e Fagioli... what a shame! This amazing Osteria has been open for more than 40 years and is one of Milan best kept secret. On Sundays, they do the "pasta all forno" for lunch, a secret receipe created by the grandma of the two young... More

Pastas, meats, mozzarella and other cheeses, desserts. Typical, fresh, rich in flavour. Simple homely accommodation with large tables and benches.

Staying in Bicocca

Neighborhood Profile
Bicocca
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
