The 5 stars speak for themselves, this place deserves every single one. Authentic, tasteful and delicious the owners, a husband and wife, takes pride in the food, presentation and atmosphere of the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking the best Italian cuisine in Milan.

I went there with my girlfriend for Valentine's day 2015. The food was absolutely amazing and the wine divine. I had the biggest wine glass that I have ever had in a restaurant (see picture) which made the experience really special and the wine tasted fantastic in that glass... The owner of the restaurant was super helpful, he suggested me... More

What a wonderful experience. A husband and wife own the place and it's AMAZING! You can tell they truly care about what they're doing because it reflects it in their food and service. We've been living in Italy for three years and can't believe this is our first time here. The menu was in Italian, but the owner took the... More

My husband and I went to Peccatori di Gola not knowing what to expect. We were totally surprised! The restaurant is cozy, very welcoming with great personal service. We were seated and served by Marco, who co-owns the restaurant with his wife. He was extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. He took great pride in the fact that the meals are... More

We had a wonderful dinner in Peccatori di Gola, where is located in the Navigli district. Ordered bruschetta with tomato, spinach ravioli, tagliata steak and tiramisui. We decided to share all dishes. Each dish is prepared with heart and high quality. The spinach ravioli was one of the best pasta we've ever had. Definitely come back next time we are... More

This restaurant is out of this world. The atmosphere, the helpful warm service - walking us through the vegeterian options... And the food... Phenominal. Truly exceptional. Dont miss this.

A hidden gem in commercial Navigli - booked a table here for my family who were visiting from the UK. The owner, who also serves, is a very kind and patient man. He took the time to explain the menu and also suggested wines for us. We began with some spicy pasta with Calabrese sauage and then gnocchi. We all... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
