Excellent Japanese, friendly atmosphere

Yoshi has been an excellent find in Milan. Most Japanese restaurants in the city tend to be stuffy with no charm and average quality. Yoshi on the contrary stands out for its airy atmosphere. The food is excellent and varied. The sushi and sashimi menu is fairly traditional and of excellent... read more

Simply the best sushi you can get in Milan. I would book at the sushi bar as the restaurant is a bit minimal for my taste, but the reason I always come here is because the quality of the fish is always very high! Bravo Yoshi

The owner could be a racist. When the clients are Japanese or Italian, he does his own way as usual. Otherwise not. For example, they usually serve plates as primo, secondo, terzo piatto etc. Once I went there to eat with my Chinese friend, he said that they didn't need to give us the plates in order because my friend... The moment i step inside unappetizing fish smell welcomed me. No doubt that it's because of inadequate ventilation system. After i choose and ordered the sushies it took like 30-40 minutes to arrive. The presentation and taste was really good but under this bad smell conditions i couldnt get the real taste. Plus, the prices were higher than they deserved.... More

one of the best sushi spots in Milan if you are looking for an authentic japanese experience you won't be eating any of the creme cheese and weird dressing sushi that are created for an american or european target...here you get the real deal in a minimal and short menu that is really good the chef pays greats attention the... Small restaurant, white the design, white the rice perfectly cooked, but coloured the fish in its flavour and taste. Maybe the best sushi in Milan. Fantastic the tartare too. Good apetizer, good service, good sake. So the value. Avoid the cakes, realy too poor compared to the other courses.

Yoshi presents itself as a minimalist fashionable place all in white. Using only white it's dangerous. But anyway, I haven't seen the kitchen or the other part of the restaurant, but to see the first part was enough, cheap plastic chairs and tables( design pieces but plastic), we didn't felt like being in restaurant of a famous chef. The sashimi... More

Probably the best Japanese food I have had in Milan in a very long time. A cut above the others, in a convenient location close to Piazza Cavour. I went for dinner but I am told they also serve lunch. You can sit at a table, or at the counter. Very white, and clean lines but the lighting softens in... More

Definitely advice for sushi lovers. Do not go for the known very basic dishes but risk it since the fish quality is superb! Small place with good service, adapted for friends and dates.

We were invites by local business men to this place. We took the bento box and it was a great experience and really great food. Would love to come back.

Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
