Definitely advice for sushi lovers. Do not go for the known very basic dishes but risk it since the fish quality is superb! Small place with good service, adapted for friends and dates.
First of all, this is one of the very few authentic Japanese restaurants in Milan, run by proper Japanese chef and crew. The food is well prepared, unpretencious and you can cut the fish almost with the tip of the chopstick, as it is really fresh and tender. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy, good for couples, families, friends. The... More
The food here is delicious, the waitstaff is friendly and even though I don't speak Italian and my server didn't speak much English we were able to communicate the necessary info. The chef/owner was running the whole show from behind the sashimi counter. The place fills up fast with regulars (I was there on a Monday) so I would advise... More
Dear Yoshi Son you know what? your sushi is amazing, the atmosphere is not the best but good enought ...I just care about the food. Your service is on the low average side of your buiness. I have been many times to Yoshi with my wife, and I must say that also this time it has been superb. We like to seat at the counter (Japanese style) Service is accurate and there is even an Italian waiter who can speak perfect Japanesre. It is amazing! Yoshi, the owner, is always very focused on quality of food... More
This is a top grade shushi restaurant in Milan. Stunning menu, minimalist dining atmosphere, always full, nice people about. GReat if you want to impress. PRice is steep but the quality is excellent
Some friends have taken me to this place in Milano pretending it was among the best pace in Milano. I arrived with great expectations. Unfortunately I have found a relatively average place with a stange location with a separate sushi bar from the rest of the restaurant. Food is good but not really exceptional, not up to the reputations. Many... More
Loved all the original dishes here at Yoshi - and make no mistake, Yoshi is Japanese not an imitation. There are some fushion dishes combining trad Milanese fare with Japanese favourites which work well. I opted for traditional dishes - soft shell crab, toro, ikura, which were delicious. We ate very well - we probably ordered enough for 3 -... More
Delicate flavours, outstanding presentation and friendly, discrete service. We shared and enjoyed a selection of sushi, seafood & vegetable tempura, a spicy grilled chicken dish (sorry the name escapes me but it's slightly spicy and has cocoa in the dressing) and the selection plate of japanese desserts. Not cheap but definitely worth spending the money!
