Little gem, just off Via Dante

Very good place to have a delicious lunch or tasty dinner, with friendly service and even a complementary glass of Spumante. This was a recommendation from the reception of our hotel, so it is therefore not on the sight of the tourists, but it is definitely one of the best we tried. The ambience of the restaurant was elegant and quiet but not expensive, the price was really good. We had an spaghetti bolognesa and it was the very best. We... More

We stumbled upon street visiting the Duomo - very nice restaurant and cheap compared to some of the other offerings nearby. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. The seafood pasta was great as were the risotto and pizzas.

Very nice restaurant, which we find by chance walking by Milano city centre. We have amazing risotto and pasta with a very reasonable price. Ah, and we loved proseco as a greeting :)

This place is off the main street .It was recommended by our hotel reception and with a map on hand we got there in about 15 minutes walk from the Piazza Duomo. We order two fish dishes they were nicely prepared using the freshest fish and seashells. The prices were average and the service was professional. The atmosphere was relaxed.... More

We'd been walking around for a few hours and needed to find a place to eat. Opened up Tripadvisor on the iPhone and after a few minutes we'd decided this place looked good and was within a few minutes walk. It has just opened on a Sunday evening and was empty ! we thought we may had made the wrong... More

Our hotel recommended this small restaurant a few blocks away from the Douomo. This place is on a small side street. Portions are large. A salad is enough for 2. They give complimentary glass of white wine (can't spell pro sec o) & bruschetta. Shrimp appetizer was great. We also had a sliced beef with cheese & a parmesan &... More

This restaurant is located off the main Via Nazionale. I's creatively decorated with wines and corks. The wait staff is very nice and helpful. Remember in Italy you must never be in a hurry. They brought us a special appetizer and liquor on the house. The food here is worth waiting for... tasty, fresh and good sized portions.

We were staying next door and decided to dine at Andry for our second night in Milan. Located in a quiet street off Via Dante, ristorante Andry is good choice. The restaurant has a modern interior with an upstairs mezzanine dining area. There are a few tables in nice locations near the windows/corners but the other dining tables located in... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
