Good food, but the service is a little complicated when crowed

I enjoyed the restaurant atmosphere and food. The food is good but the waiter was a little bit confused when delivering the food. The price is fair and it seems that even Italians go there, not only tourists.

I found this little spot on a long walk around Milan. I don't like the touristy spots so I stear clear of the Duomo/Galleria area. This spot is close, but on a back street, and is frequented by locals (and a few tourists). Sounds good so far?...well the food was pretty good...but the servers were indifferent. It was 30 minutes... More

We found this restaurant throught Tripadvisor as we were stating at the Hotel Antico Locanda del Mercanti on Via Tomaso. The food was good, atmosphere good and we enjoyed our meal. The cappucino coffee was very flavoursome. However, the salad with crab, prawns and octopus was not really accurately described on the menu as the crab was actually sliced crab... More

The restaurant was in a small alley and if it had not been recommended we would never have found it. The service was very good and the food and wine was even better. Well worth the effort to find it.

We just stumbled onto this place while walking around the Duomo area. The food was excellent, service very quick and friendly, and the food really fresh and tasty. Very good feel to this place, and a glass of free prosecco upon sitting down, lovely touch!! Would go again.

This restaurant is close to the center, but still very calm and nice. Food was delicious. Prices are very good (especially when taking in mind the location). Wine was also very good and service professional.

We wanted to find a restaurant which is not touristic and this restaurant was a great finding! It was small, romantic and the food was excellent! I highly recommend this to everyone!

We were lucky and found Andry not far from our hotel and decided to return a couple of times during our stay in Milan. It is only a few minutes walk from the Duomo, just off the tourist track, down a little side street, but well worth seeking out for something a bit special. The service is excellent and the... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
