Good Belgian beers, will need to come back for the food

Very many interesting Belgian beers, we liked each of the three drafts we tried. One of us tried café liegeois as dessert, much less interesting. Will need to come back for food. A bit remote, tucked away a few hundred meters from the Piazzale Lodi metro station, just underneath the old Porta Romana train station, now pending significant redevelopment.

Nice atmosphere and very good beer indeed :) Ideal spot for drinks or a meal / light bite with friends, family, a romantic date or solo

If you've been to the famous Léon of Paris you'd probably adore this restaurant. The choices are "limited" but very tasty and the prices are reasonable for the Milan standard (14 euros for 1kg of mussles and fries). Dessert is as good, the staff is friendly and awsome atmosphere, definetely one of the best "foreign" cuisine restaurants in Milan

I'm not fond of mussels, so I probably haven't fully appreciated this restaurant, which is nicely decorated with seascapes and lighthouses. The atmosphere is nice but I've found it a bit too pricey for what I had: chips, salad Bruxelloise, a small lager and a dessert, for 25 euros.

If you are in Milan and want to eat the best mussels and fries "belgian" way in town, this is your place. Try any of the Moules preparations with the matching beer suggested (from a very good selection of belgian alternatives) and you will be delighted, mussels (1 Kg) are served in the typical belgian pot together with fries in... Dined here this week with several friends. Three of the table had their specialty, mussels with fries. Of the three, the provencal version seemed to have the most flavor. Two others had the beef stew type entree. The beef was really tender, but the plate seemed lacking without any vegetables. Everything was good, but not anything to particularly write home... More

Nice and informal atmosphere... small, table are very near one to each other, quite noisy... Food is good, but nothing so special... Mussles are fresh and well cooked... but I am not so enthusiastic about... If you have ever tried Belgo in London, you are speaking about a completely different world...

This small place used to be my favourite brasserie in Milan and even one of my top picks overall. Unfortunately, every time I come back I can't help noticing that things are getting worse and worse. Service used to be fast and reliable, while last night we had to wait 10 minutes before the waiter showed up and took our... More

Very good value for money, the moules ( cozze ) are of very good quality and big, and very nicely cooked - I liked the variety of the menu, they also have a very nice selection of beers. Difficult to find a place so booking in advance is advised.
