We dropped randomly in at this restaurant and got amazing food and service. They had good Valtilinan vino, and a good ambiance. Would go back another time!

Solid and traditional Italian cooking served by caring staff who are friendly and enjoy having guests. This restaurant provided everything we had hoped for our first dinner in Milan. In Milan, where many Italian restaurants are not owned or operated by Italians, it is very refreshing to find a gem such as Amarcord which is genuinely local. We had a... More

I had two excellent meals at the restaurant, coming back the second night because I could find nowhere else in the area with genuine local food. Everything I tried was good: stuffed pumpkin flowers, spelt spaghetti with asparagus, lemon and pecorino, cold veal with beans and salad, seafood pasta. Friendly service. Good, simple food and wine. What more do you... More

Arrived in Milan on a Friday evening and was looking for a spot for a late dinner. This place was not overly busy, so did not hold out much hope, but we sat on an outside table and was pleasantly pleased. Staff were fire duly and helpful. Bread was served in a bag! Great pasta, squid, and courgette flowers and... More

A short visit to friends in Milan who took us to Amarcord - very good food, very good service - great atmosphere and so friendly. Can't wait to go back and have already recommended it to a member of the family who is often in Milan.

To start off, our original plan was to dine at a nearby restaurant that is ranked in top 5 in TA. But that place was closing down for the night and will not take anymore diners, not a problem, the staff there was extremely apologetic and polite. We asked for a nearby recommendation and without hesitation, he pointed us here.... More

I was on holiday in Milan. I had the pleasure of eating with friends in this small restaurant. The food is of excellent quality, abundant quantities, various types of wines, table service is timely. A satisfaction of the palate and the wallet, because the price for a full meal may be about 25/30 euros. You are left with feeling warmth... More
