I come from Greece and I have tasted pizza from 5 different Spontini. I have to underline that this pizza that is simple with tomato, anjugia and mozzarela is the best pizza I have ever tasted! What scents! What taste!!!! It is crispy, big and really really delicious. The materials are of high quality. Bravo to spontini, I am a... More

This pizzeria is really great thanks to the tasty, huge and heavy cheesy melted slice of pizza! There are two kind of flavor: margherita with or without fish. Anyway there is also other food choice in the menu. The place is small and overcrowded , but fortunately you can find a seat in few minutes. The only black spot is... More

This is a classic case of more than average less than very good, but a little more good than average so it basically belongs to the Very Good cell. One could say it´s overvalued and over famous, but I get why it´s so popular. First of all, this is not you typical thin crust pizza, this one is super thick,... More

If You want to see and taste real Italy in Milan, this is the place to go. There is a great demand (lines of people behind the door) and when You taste the pizza You understand that the key is in simplicity. Simply wonderful.

Certainly the place for "deep pan" pizza, pizza al trancio. Not everybody likes pizza al trancio, but we are and enjoy every bite. Don't expect to sit down for the evening though: the queue waiting outside will mean that you will eat and go...

The pizza isn't bad but slightly on the greasy side. A good solution if you want something quick and easy.

Spontini is one of the most famous pizzeria in Milan and it's worth a visit both for the food and the atmosphere. Let's start from the food: it's what we call "pizza al trancio", which is quite different from the traditional pizza of Naples: this one is thick, soft and cooked in big rounded backing tin. At Spontini, you can... More

I'm Italian and I'm not recommending this if you're looking for traditional pizza. This one is served large slices, very soft, made with lot of oil - which makes it fatty but really tasty. worth a try.
