Divine panzerotto

This place is so famous in Milan that people queue outside, and they have hired two tall big black guys to sort out those who do not queue. They sell everything possible, from panzerotti with different fillings to cakes, and all taste amazing. They certainly do not need any advertisement. If you... read more

if one time in your life you'll come to Milan...you have to visit this shop. ask for a panzerotto (a fried sandwich with many different ingredients) and eat it while you are visinting the center of the city. The price is honest (2.50€ each) and I advise to start with a normal panzerotto (mozzarella/cheese and pomodoro/tomato). Also the piece of... More

If there is one quick stop that is a must it's Luini's! I grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia where we had a local who made panzerottis. They don't hold a candle to the originals in Milan. The tomato, the cheese and most of all the crust are perfection. You simply have to go... I dare you... More

How to describe a Panzerotto? Think to a Pizza. But inside a soft bread envelope. The best mozzarella cheese and tomato make the flavor. And Luini is the kingdom of Panzerotto, a typical southern Italy food, at very low prices, and VERY LONG QUEUES. Italian style. The Panzerotto needs a though fight to reach the serving area and a multiple... More

Hot, fresh and delicious panzerotto with a choice of fillings. Panzerotto is deep fried bread with a filling. Think olives, mozarella and tomatoe as a filling. Yummm, yummm and yumm. The line is a wee bit long, just because it is that good - worth a try, even if you're only in Milan for the day. There is no seating,... More

The concept is simple, you can say that you know Milan unless you have tasted at least once a Luini's panzerotto. If you are in piazza Duomo and you'd like something to eat, face the queue and try Luini's panzerotto, the best one in Milan. It's so famous in Milan that some tourists believe panzerotto is a typical food of... More

Very yummy panzerotti, very much recommended. However, there is always such long queues, although managed very well and moves fairly quickly. Even though I was there to try the infamous panzerotti, when I got to the counter, there was a huge selection of gorgeous looking pastries that looked equaly delicious, however, like I said, I didn't know this until I was... Historical Milan's attraction, serves "panzerotti" usually not completly coocked and very greasy. Probably, I'm wrong, because a lot of people, all day long, crowd this place, but this is my personal opinion: in Italy we're the bible of cook, and good taste and this isn't what italians mean about that.

Since years the most famous place in Milano for "panzerotti", a speciality from Apulia. In the beginning you had only to tell the number of panzerotti you wanted as there was no choice. Now you can choose between the classic fried ones and the more dietetic oven cooked, sweet or salted, among more than twenty different kind of panzerottis. Not... More

Just to explain the title... Panzerotti is not at all a Milanese specialty but Luini is. There is probably a better one some where in puglia (the region where panzerotti is originally from)but luini is by far the best you can get in milan and many miles around from it. It's simply an Italian backer so don't expect any special... More
