Good for an aperitivo in the centre

Good aperitivo in the Milan city centre. The food seems quite good and also the drinks. Location nice but always really crowded

This place is located at one of the not so common pedestrian streets in Milan. This means that if the weather is good enough for you to want to eat outside the location is really good. The wait staff was very friendly and clearly known to every person in the neighborhood. I had a Panini for lunch here. I would... More

Go for great happy hour drinks and apperitivo! Price is very reasonable. Sit outside and enjoy the lovely buffet while sipping a nice glass of wine. Don't miss this great place in the Bera district.

In short: just go there during happy hour. Drink wine by the glass or the bottle if you want. Don't get scared by the price of a glass of wine for the delicious snacks (which is actually an understatement) are for free. The guys running this place are great.

A great wine bar that does a great spread of food at Happy Hour. Grab an Aperol Spritz and a plate of olives, focaccia and chicken wings and sit and watch Milan pass by. Get there early but don't linger, it's very popular with locals.

Stayed in the Carlyle Brera hotel opposite Moscatelli, we went every night we stayed! Very attentive staff who were very professional at all times. Recommend giving this place a visit if you like your wine (even if you don't the staff are great with suggestions!)

We did not go there for a dinner, but for something to eat together with a bottle of wine. Well, everything was delicious. Cheese, ham, salami and a beautiful merlot from Veneto. Thus paying about 20 euro p.p. was worthwhile.

Staying in Brera

Neighborhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
