Found this place walking around. The chefs pate was to die for...Yummy! All the choices we ordered were excellent and extremely well prepared. Staff was friendly and spoke English. Our server was pleasant and engaging. We would definitely eat there again if we're around Stresa again.

This restaurant didn't have the views/romantic setting which we had had on other nights on our holiday but that didn't matter, off the beaten track a little, this restaurant was charming, the food was amazing (only night on the holiday which we had three courses). We had two pasta dishes to start (the ravioli was beautifully balanced and the fresh pesto... More

This was recommended by our apartment owner and is sure to please. We had the pork and was so well priced but better than the food in the piazza. The wine was good too. Great value for fresh cuisine. Well done to the chef and owner.

We had dinner here on our first night in Stresa. From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcome, even though we didn't have a reservation. The waiters were all very attentive and friendly throughout the meal. We loved the decor in the restaurant. It felt very stylish, yet relaxed. We ordered different courses. They were all great, but the... More

My friend and I walked in one evening and we were warmly welcomed. Between the two of us, we had cubes of steak in wine sauce, fish, semifreddo and its famous birramisu for dessert. All beautifully presented and delicious! Easily one of the best meals we had in Italy and not the most expensive at about 48 euros.

As slightly of the beaten track this is popular with locals . Serves good value well cooked Italian dishes. Dish of the day is usually excellent value in terms of quality/quantity. Pleasant helpful staff. Worth a visit for a quick light authentic Italian lunch

More quiet than many restaurants in Stresa, which can be a good thing in the high season. Tables are nicely spaced out, the menu has unusual dishes, and the standard of cooking is high. We had the house wine by carafe, which was also very good. The staff were unobtrusive, friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

When you've had enough of eating pizza and lake fish and want something different, this is the place. The menu is small but distinctive, with good quality ingredients, the servings are small (this is a good thing) and the service is friendly.

We had dinner at Trattoria Due Piccioni last night after reading a great review. Wow - were we disappointed! The spinach salad was great and the meat ravioli was ok but the rest of the meal was sub-par, not even average. The steak was tough and flavorless, the eggplant was unedible after one bite, the wine came with a bug... More
