A favourite restaurant when eating in Stresa. This is one "resort" town where you really don't need evening meals in the hotels, as there are plenty of good eateries in the town centre, certainly enough to try a different one every night. This is my favourite. A good place to "people watch", the service is very attentive, an excellent standard... More

My wife and I stopped here for an early evening drink in early October and decided to stay a little longer when we saw how much other people were enjoying their meals. We tried a pasta dish and a pizza and were both happy with our choices. The next day we called in for lunch and were not disappointed with... More

Hey, the Caffe Torino was so good we ate here twice. Thought the food was outstanding and the price was good. The first night we had cannelloni @ 7 Euro, Lasagna @ 6.50 Euro, salad @ 4.50 Euro and beer @ 4.50. There was no cover charge. The service was great. It was Sept. and outside seating was available, so... More

This is a great restaurant, with outdoor tables, to watch the action on Piazza Cadorna. Just 2 doors along from the great little Hotel Elena, also on Piazza Cadorna, I couldn't see anywhere better, so dined here 2 nights. I like everything about this place, starting with the cheerful wait staff & their care to find a good table for... More

Always busy, this is a stunning eatery. It is as well to reserve a table for dinner or you may be told to come back in an hour. Lovely food, cheerfully served, at good prices.

Had an amazing meal, the waiter was awesome, fantastic traditional Italian dinner, sorry it was not opened the second night in Stresa. Would recommend it to anybody, enjoyed the Lemonchello at the end of the meal and the restaurant was very busy, but the service second to none.

We've dined at Caffe Torino many times and never been disappointed. There are always local people in, often for special occasions. It can get very busy, for obvious reasons, and if you're into posh, 'fine dining' it might not be the place for you. But for great atmosphere, good food, really friendly service and reasonable prices you won't beat it.... More

This restaurant in the main piazza in Stresa is the only one serving excellent traditional Italian food. It is always good to see the locals in a restaurant.

My husband and I had a nice lunch here on a busy rainy day. Waitress was super friendly and helpful and the food was very good. We were surprised with a limoncello to end the meal! I would definitely return.

The wait staff made us feel very welcome when we arrived, and we chose a table outside, in the small piazza. The food was very good and affordably price, and the service was prompt and attentive. We're sorry that we only had time to eat there once.
