This place is located approximately in the city center of Stresa. We were caught (duped) and by the strange menu, the massive presence of seafood and the Michelin references on the window. We were greeted kindly by a waiter who has picked up the jacket of my companion, but not mine, saying something I did not understand. The table and... More

Top quality restaurant with attention to detail. Good menu but we chose the "local" menu and the food was the choice of the chef - we were not disappointed. Expensive but worth it.

The head-waiter was very attentive to start with and suggested we left the choice of the meal to the chief, which we did. My starter was exceptional but then dinner went down hill. A fish pasta dish had undercooked pasta. This was followed by a small piece of fish and to finish, yes to finish, a very small crème-brulee. The... More

The ambiance of the restaurant is good, and the maitre d' has good English and seemed very competent. The prices charged and the various degustation menus offered meant that we expected something of AA rosette standard, so we felt disappointed. The quality of cooking was poor, with almost no complexity or depth of flavour in most of the courses, though... More

This as our last night of 5 in Stresa having eaten very well the whole week. we went for the menu Moderno leaving it all up to the chef, who did not fail to impress, with good wines chosen to go with each course. They even allowed us to have different wines with the pasta If we were to a have... Having read a few unhappy reviews of the place we still decided to give it a try. The menu typically changes depending on the catch of the day, which I think is a good thing. Our waiter was very polite and asked us several times if we had any allergies since the menu was not set. Our "primi" was a... More

Worst restaurant we have eaten at in a long time! It's pricy why you expect something special...in our case it was a nightmare! We had the classico menu (3 course) and got pasta with sardines to start with. Good if u like sardines...second dish was a joke! Fish that didn't taste anything. Third course was a fruitsalad! A joke! The... More

Very nice decorated restaurant. Service is excellent. Lot of time was spent to explain the menu in very good english. Food was terrific and choice of wine as well. Real value for money. We will certainly go back.

Really a good eating experience. Truly Italian. Great service really professional. Food was wonderful. Chef takes the time to serve the meal and greet the guests. Worth a visit as a food lover I appreciated this place for its authentic menu and wine list.

My wife and I had a great diner and a great time. We had dietary restrictions and after going through what they could offer us, we found there wasn't much. They didn't get discouraged and took a list of all the fish we could eat for the next evening. The following evening we showed up with my wife and were... More
