Good Value

This place on the main drag offers a little of everything. It was easy to get a table and the service was efficient. Nothing is really exceptional, but then, it won't break the budget. Plus, you get to do a little people watching!

We used this restaurant for most of our week in Stresa, as we were staying right next door. While well-frequented, it is out of the central part of Stresa and so avoids being too noisy and overcrowded. The inside room is dark but pleasantly spacious, while the little outside deck is surrounded by a rather nice, idiosyncratic vegetable garden in... More

Meh, we had lunch on our first day on Lago Maggiore and it was ok. The highlights were the pizzas which are thin with good toppings, four seasons was good and the service which was friendly. The rest was just ok. No more than that, my Melanzane Parmigiana were not good at all, in fact i left most of it... More

We ate here twice in the same day it was so good! The wood-fired pizza oven produced some of the best pizza we've had in Italy. And that's saying a lot! The ambiance is good and the value for money excellent. Good location and very friendly service. Looking forward to our next trip!

My husband is Italian, and whenever we visit Stresa at least once a year, we always come to this family-run restaurant that has been around for many years. The dishes we have tried are always consistently delicious, whether pasta or pizza, but my all-time favourite dish is their tagliolini con nero di seppia (black ink pasta with prawns and a... More

We ate here in mid-October, and could not figure out why the restaurant was so empty. It has a nice atmosphere and serves far more than just pizza. Do not think of this as an American-style pizza restaurant, though they do have a pizza oven and are happy to serve you pizza. Service was friendly and attentive. The house wine... More

Very good food and service in this restaurant with a terrace away from the busy tourist places. The menu has many dishes but we kept to the basics and ordered from the huge choice of pizza. The real thing! and good prices.

Walking through the town, we came across this crowded restaurant. In we went, and had wonderful food. Reasonable cost, attentive service.

Because the food was pretty good (excellent pasta and the best pizza we had in Stresa, by far) and the prices very reasonable, we decided to overlook the abrupt service we received and give them another chance. We got the same waiter and she recognized us as return customers, but she treated us so coldly that we felt our business... More

Stressa has a lot of up market and frankly pretentious restaurants so it was good to find this pleasant local place and we ended up eating there twice. When we returned the second time the waitress recognized as and was really pleased we came back - it was kind of nice that the waitress identified with the place. Everyone was... More
