We had dinner a couple of days ago at La Storico. The food was nice, significantly better than what you typically eat on the terrasses around Como. But the wines were the real highlight. They were all advised by the lady of the house. We had two white wines, one being a delictate chardonnay, and two reds, a full bodied... More

This restaurant is beautiful, the dishes are incredible but it is quite expensive. 2 Secondi + 1 salad +2 cups of wine more than €100

When we arrived at this restaurant, we were greeted by a sign on the door which said "no credit cards" - not a good start in a reasonably expensive place. Was like being in someone's deserted front room, although a few others arrived a little later. The waitress was friendly, although the service was rather unprofessional at this price point... More

Another great recommendation of the hotel's concierge. And another great evening. Yes, backing up previous reviews - authentic and tasty italian meal in very cosy "homely" atmosphere. Biggest surprise been grappa at the end - not a fan of it at all I was really blown away how great it was. Still regretting didnt get a name of it ...... More

A lovely Italian restaurant with fresh, tasty food. Average size plates. Cost for 4 entree plates, 2 glasses of house wine and 10% service charge was 115 euro.

Tiger prawns to die for ... Fish just perfectly cooked ...delightful staff ...as good as we get in Australia. Only 20 or so place settings. House wine great to try something different. We will come back

Four of us ate there last night, and we all loved the food and the ambiance. The restaurant is small but lovely. The food (all seafood) was creative and fabulous favors. Even the breadsticks were amazing--light and flavorful.

The restaurant was very close to our hotel (Barchetta Excelsior), and was recommended to us by the concierge. It is a small and romantic setting, and the menu had lots of fresh fish options. The waiter was very attentive. The restaurant has been around since 1941, so obviously they are doing something right to keep the business going. We liked... More

Despite the recommendation of our hotel that this was a very good restaurant, we left disappointed. We have been travelling in Italy for two weeks and this was not one of our better dining experiences. The environment was pleasant enough and we were promptly seated. We received water and bread almost immediately but the beer selection was very limited and... More

An outstanding choice of seasonal menus of fresh seafood and catches. Very reasonable prices. Service by the owner, she is a lady and has an eye on every detail. Highly recommended.
