This was possibly the best food experience we had during our short stay in Italy. Great value for money (2 main courses, beer, tea coffee and a sorbet desert with a bottle of water for €41). The boar tagliatelle was fantastico! I had the duck ravioli, it was delicious. It was quite quiet, mostly due to the time of year,... More

We also found this trattoria in the Lonely Planet guide. We really loved it!! I had an amazing dish, a kind of cheese soufle with asparagus. My husband had fish (cannot recall the name) and it was also amazing. The buidling itself is wonderful, you can sit at a table out in the garden and have a pleasant time. Amazing... More

We found this trattoria in the Lonely Planet and it did not disappoint. Roberto, our server, was genuinely helpful with recommending a good white wine and helped us with our Italian. I recommend the chickpea soup with two big prawns. Very delicious. My wife had the mixed salami antipasto which was substantial and she is still raving about it. Our... More

One of the best restaurants in Como. We were here many many times. The food is excellent, the wine extraordinary and the staff really very nice and professional. In summer it is defenitely the best place to have a meal outside in the wonderful quiet garden covered with trees. Inside also a wonderful warm athmoshere.During the week the menu's at... More

Start considering to have at least two desserts and then indulge in a full fledged 4 to 5 courses dinner. You are in one of those "trattorie" in Italy where you can get pacified with tastes and normality. Have the salami platter, go for antipasti sharing with your friends and don't miss the sardine pudding. First-pasta course or risotto drawn... More

Restaurant 5 of us dined here last Thursday night, only a few other people dining. We were that impressed we returned on the Friday night. The setting was wonderful, quiet outside area with only a few passerbys. Staff were very attentive, polite & keen to assist. Food exceptional, best meals we have had since leaving Australia. For starters we had... More

Another spot in Como to get away from the more pedestrian fare around the big piazzas and hotels. Great menu of regional cuisine with good lake fish dishes. All-Italian menu, so bring your words or translation willingly given by helpful staff. All locals, some with kids, near edge of old walled part of town, all of which added to great... More
