Although outside the main area of Como, it is definitely worth the trip to this family-run restaurant. Our waiter was very nice and was able to speak in French and English with us to translate the menu. The seafood was tasty (I tried an assortment of gratin seafood as starter and grilled crayfish with fresh rosemary and my husband tried... More

Amazing atmosphere and service, all waiters are greatly polite and complaisant. Values are bigger than average but the dinner worth it. The restaurant is based on seafood and fish but a few meat dishes are also available. The only minus about food is olive oil. It was added to every dish and extremely decreased my opinion about the evening.

This place is located in a quiet area, not particularly elegant, hidden from the main traffic. You get inside and start feeling like you just entered a lively, cosy and yet elegant restaurant. Tables are well spaced, waiters professional, not pushy, upbeat and prepared to answer any question with a solid English. The food is promptly prepared, fresh and served... More

We had the menu of the day which was a pick of 5 different pasta's, 5 mains, 3 deserts and wine for three people and it cost 55 euro's in total. Everything was really lovely. We couldn't believe the taste or cost. Plus the waiters and the chef were wonderfully friendly. It deserves its Michelin rating.

Nice setting in Como suburbs. Food is very good and the decoration quite nice. Very accomodating team. It is one of the best in Como, that does not have many good restaurants.

It is not easy to find a good seafood restaurant in Como. There is no tradition probably due to the distance from the sea. Er piu' is one of the very few restaurant where seafood is cooked well and it is very fresh. Service is excellent, while the environment is nice but simple. Dessert are home made and pretty good.

The restaurant is very pretty and the managing family is sweet and helpful. The cuisine is certainly good but nothing to write home about. I often judge an Italian restaurant by the simplest of dishes--pasta a pomodoro. Here the sauce is a bit goopy. The seafood here is good but not as good as Valverde, Da Rosa or La Tana... More
