Great value lunch menu

If you fancy something a bit different to pizza and pasta this place is a must. It's easy to miss from the front but it is proper high quality dishes cooked beautifully. The lunch menu is especially good value at 16 euro. Huge portions!

Followed the lead from other TripAdvisor contributors and dined at this restaurant last night, what a delightful evening. The food, wine, service and ambience was all very enjoyable we even finished the evening by having a lemonicello and a glass of red wine down in the cellar. Bellissimo!

It's a rather small family restaurant* with great tasting food; the service was amazing, everyone was extremely nice and polite (and knew English!). Overall, everything that we ordered tasted amazing! The desserts were also fantastic (we tried the lemon cake and the zuppa Inglese. *We decided it's a family restaurant, after asking of the waiters to recommend us something and... More

Osteria L'Angolo del Silenzio is a charming place with indoor, outdoor and semi-outdoor rooms. The decor is pleasant and the service is attentive but not obtrusive. The food is outstanding. We had the Caprese, Branzino and Vitello Tonnato. All were as good as we have had anywhere. Prices are reasonable -- 100 Euros including tip for the meals, 3 glasses... More

Was recommended to us by Giampietro or host in Como where his father used to take him when he was a boy. We had a three course meal my wife had past and I had meat which was accompanied by roasted potatoes with rosemary. Wine list was good and not too overpriced.

A very nice, curated place with a beautiful courtyard to have a great and relaxed lunch or dinner. I went for a business lunch and the menu is excellent especially for the fish selection as well an excellent wine list. The service is excellent, Staff very polite, attentive. The menu is based on traditional regional and local lake ingredients but... More

Recommended by trusted expat bar owner, we become a believer of traditional Italian lake region ingredients and cooking. Restaurant entrance and building--unassuming; but, large interior with well space tables with table clothes, few larger tables with wine waiting the expected local guests...few smartly dress stately gentlemen who must have use the premise at least few times a month all their... I found this restaurant few years ago from the Celiac association in Italy. The next visit to Como with my family, I couldn't wait to eat there again. They have gluten free menu with plenty of choices, including fantastic deserts. The food is so tasty and authentic Italian, prepared to perfection! The service is incredible and great atmosphere. All my... More

We had some difficulties finding it because its entrance is so unassuming, but inside it is very pleasant. We got a very warm welcome although they didn't get our e-mail reservation. Two of us shared the Costata Fiorentina, a 2inch thick T-Bone steak cooked to perfection. It comes with potatoes and a big selection of grilled vegetables. Meat lover's paradise...... More

Pretty much in the centre of Como, quite unassuming outside but large inside. Food was a really good quality and service was equally good. Can recommend the food but the Tiramisu was not as good as expected quite plain. Overall recommended for atmosphere, and food.
