This was my first meal - a pizza for lunch - in Como. I was hungry and jet lagged so perhaps my taste buds were tired too, but the pizza was just okay. I was in Como 3 days and had much better meals, including pizzas. The sidewalk/piazza outside area was nice but again, not a rare asset in Como.

Look the place is well presented and the waiter was friendly, but that's about it really. We ordered the chefs specialty which is the seafood risotto, it was absolute rubbish, no flavour, no creaminess, rice too hard, frozen seafood. Everything about the place screams rip off the tourist, from the coperto to the overpriced dishes. Oh also the same 6... More

This was my first trip to como with friends and family and we were 7 in total who had come together from the UK, Africa & Switzerland. This restaurant had a lovely feel about it with excellent food choices and good value for money!! We felt the service was good overall, however our waiter seemed to rush us a little... More

This was a fairly random choice of venue for lunch for us. The menu initially brought fears of frozen heated pasta (we had similar experiences elsewhere in Italy near major landmarks - and Pepe Nero is around the corner from Como Cathedral), but everything was fresh. Pasta ai funghi got especial high marks, and panna cotta was deemed one of... More

Great food, lovely ambience (outdoors) and some of the nicest staff you could meet. We were in Italy for two weeks and wanted to try as many restaurants as possible. This was the only one we went to two nights in a row as we loved it! Ask for recommendations - they use fresh pasta which meant the lasagna was... More

We had dinner at this restaurant. The staff couldn't have been less interested. Our request for tap water was refused. I had to ask specially for some bread and our meals arrived some ten minutes apart. All in all the ambiance was completely lacking. I would not recommend this restaurant and can only wonder at the motivation for such unfriendliness.
