Quick, yummy & very reasonable price

Upon arrival in Bellagio, there was very little open due to the time of year (Feb). A cafe on the front and then this lovely little place tucked away up a side alley, off the water front (refer to pic). Very helpful staff, quick service both on drinks and food. The best bit was the price, since... read more

The restaurant was clean and staff quick and reasonably attentive. The prices were reasonable, not great value, a couple of euros more than perhaps the average cost in a less tourist area. The most disappointing part was that the base was not cooked through, leaving a doughy and heavy base. This should not have been allowed considering the number of... More

The restaurant is tucked in an alley. We went back several times. Food was excellent...and a good price. The wine was homemade, as was the pasta.

We ended up here because a lot of the other restaurants were closed (on a Thursday??), but did not regret it. The pizza was excellent, the wine was nice, the service was good. As the name suggests, it does not have a large terrace overlooking the lake, but for a cosy evening meal it was great.

La Grotta is a great little restaurant in the centre of Bellagio. We stumbled across their menu board set out in Piazza Mazzini and followed the signs up the steps to the restaurant. We were impressed by the fact that the place was buzzing - it was full of both Italians and foreigners so the staff were obviously doing something... More

Nice place, good service, but the salad was just terrible. Not that you can expect a lot from the Italians when it comes to something different than pizza, but in our case we got vegetables swimming in tuna oil. The tuna can oil cannot be considered a salad sauce and it's really not a waste to filter it and throw... More

Had dinner at this local place. Seems most people were eating pizza so I did, too! It was big enough for two people and good. We went early but was told it is best to make reservations. Prices were very reasonable.

Very large prawns absolutely gorgeous, very light orange sauce. Good staff who work well. Watch all the steps, steep but well worth the effort.

We ate pizza here 20 years ago and for many years I claimed to friends this was the best pizza in the world. This time we went and experienced very good service. I ordered my favourite pizza, the Bismark and we were both disappointed. The pizza was just your average pizza that you could get in any average pizza place... More
