Excellent, as well as the accompanying fizzy white wine! Service excellent! Ambiance indeed great! Only major problem - in case of a disabled person - the reaching of the restroom facility, two flight of stairs up (no elevator of any sort).

We visited Bellagio on our honeymoon for the first time. Our arrival was late in the evening. Our hotel recommended La Grotta and how we found it, tired and in the dark, we do not know. But...when we did, the staff was outside and preparing to leave for the evening. The owner ushered them (much to their chagrin we are... More

We went here after reading the reviews on trip advisor. Had a family meal of pizza and salad - not bad, but not the best in Bellagio.

Had pizza, still can't find one with lots of flavour in Italy yet. Best ones are my home made or local ones at home! We will keep trying and let you know. Good to see locasl here, made us laugh as they were having fish and chips..

We stayed in Bellagio 10 nights and found this restaurant the best of them all; we had several meals here. The seafood spaghetti was superb, excellent value and so tasty. Great house wine and a good selection of desserts to finish the meal. Waiters and service were excellent and all set in a lovely cloister style setting ideal for couples.... More

we recently enjoyed a super meal in this friendly and charming little pizzeria. The staff were friendly and the food was really good value for money. The tiramisu is not to be missed! Tucked away in the backstreets this place was a great find.

We had read about La Grotta before our trip. We ordered pizza (Diavola) and pasta. Both meals was to a 100% satisfaction. If in Bellagio.....La Grotta should be on your list over places to visit. Professional and great service too. Øystein og Ann-Elin, Norway

Great location just up the steps and near the ferry with a clearly marked sign. We had the best pizza. Wifi here was better than our hotel's. The staff and service was great. The menu is varied and I would have gone back for other dishes if I had more time.

After the stifling heat of the day on the lake we headed to La Grotta - up a dark narrow street from the quayside and in through big iron doors - to find a cool oasis with food to match. Service was discreet and efficient, the place was very quickly packed out with diners of all nations including lots of... More

We spent a glorious day on Lake Como, stopping in Bellagio for a bite to eat. We came upon this small restaurant that was located up a steep set of stairs. This was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Thin crust with tasty toppings and a cold beer to top it off.
