We went to Como Lake to spend the day from city to city. We stopped at Bellagio to visit and find George Clooney's house, but the city was so interesting, that we gave up on the search and decided to go around. At lunch, we found this restaurant, located at the extreme part of Bellagio, where you can have a... More

One of my favorite meals on our trip to Italy in April 2015. In April the tourist season is just awakening in Bellagio. Many hotels and restaurants close for the winter and aren't open in early April. This place on the point was open......exquisite view to begin with. Beautiful facility and service. Pasta with raddichio was wonderful, truly one of... More

Our tour guide of the day recommended this place for our lunch stop in Bellagio. At first, we shied away from the touristy trap places or tour guide recommendation afraid that it was just an okay place they get kick back on. However, looking at the rest of the places and that this restaurant had pretty good reviews, we decided... More

Definitely a beautiful setting to have a drink in the afternoon! Worth the walk - there's a beautiful look out point beyond the restaurant. The beer was just great! We had a plate of fries to go with it. For 5 euros, I thought we would get something half decent. Not even - the plate was so small and fries... More

A local told me that La Punta had the best fish, and on a very wet and chilly night we walked a good 15 minutes to the restaurant. It was absolutely empty at 8:00pm which we regard as a bad omen, but we were hungry and shivering. It was a lovely experience. They were welcoming and funny, served us complimentary... More

Great views in off-beaten path, quiet location. Enjoyed a relaxing lunch outdoors, with friendly and attentive service. Food very good, with excellent moderately priced wine.

Exploring the town on our first evening in Bellagio, we came upon La Punta at the end of the road behind our hotel just as they were opening. Did not have reservations but the staff made room for us on the lake view terrace and we had a lovely evening at this 50-year-old family-owned restaurant. Treated to complimentary welcome proseco... La Punta could not have been better situated for a most pleasant lunch. Delicious food, well prepared and presented; excellent wine; and Our only disappointment came when we sought to pay by credit card. After watching others being told that the credit card machine was not working properly and cash would have to be paid, I demanded that the card... More
