Tasting menu divine

We were 6 and 1/2 had the 'molecular' tasting menu and the other 1/2 had the 'free hand' tasting menu. I'm glad that I went for the free hand option and enjoyed every single morcel - from a crab salad starter, foie gras, peacock tortellini, turbot, suckling pig and two desserts..... the molecular... read more

Compliments to Chef Ettore Bocchia! What a wonderful meal, fantastic view and surroundings and beautiful evening. The chef's tasting menu was exquisite. The combination of foods and flavours were incredible. Loved the special oregano to cleanse the palette and the ice cream made at our table was amazing. If you are not concerned with price i would recommend the tasting... More

And we've been to a lot of top restaurants in a lot of countries. The meal reminded us of the also superb one that we had at Jules Verne at the Eiffel Tower. Superb food and professional service. Had the crispy crab legs, peacock main course and nitrogen ice cream made right at the table. Lots more but I don't... More

This restaurant scores the perfect 10 for its surroundings, and 9/10 for service. However the degustation molecular menu, which comprises signature 7 courses of this restaurant, unfortunately only rates 5/10. The prawn and avocado in coconut sauce did not come together in terms of taste, and nothing else quite matched other molecular meals we've had elsewhere. The two best courses... More

The experience at Mistral begins with a fantastic view of Lake Como. Mistral's, located in the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni, is one of the best. We ate there twice in the same week. The first time we had the seven course tasting menu. only one word to describe it - superb! Be sure to allow enough time as they do... More

Any salad with iceberg is a travesty and the rest is forgettable. I did have a Peach Bellini which was very tasty.

A Michelin starred restaurant, providing cutting edge innovative cooking (molecular cuisine) by the shores of a lake, with views of the alps, in one of the most beautiful and charming villages in Italy. WOW. So worth the trip ! !

This restauarant although part of a very good hotel has rested on its laurels for far too lang and I am always surprised how they continue to retain their Michelin star. The food is mediocre and amateurish served by pretencious waters

Must try egg at 60 degrees with parmesan cream and basil oil: heaven in a glass. Yes, the food is pricy, but so worth it! The meat we ate here melts in your mouth, and I don't even eat meat a lot as I do not like it!
