Very tasty

Delicious food at this lovely restaurant. We had a steak and duck thigh. Both were perfectly done. Nice side dishes served with the meal. We were in a rush to make it to a concert. Waiter got us in and out on time without feeling rushed. Even gave us a map with directions on how to get to the... read more

This is one of Cremona's top 5 restaurants to be sure. Prime location (just steps away from Piazza Duomo), excellent cuisine, atmosphere, and service. The chef has been featured in the local newspaper on more than one occasion. I personally like their fish courses, but they also offer a specialty plate that they claim is an original Cremonese recipe dating... More

We had an enjoyable dinner here. Start with a couple of "primi" dishes (Tortelli and Gnocchi Vecchia Cremona) then two "secondi" dishes (Manzo al Bastone and Ossobuco). Enjoy these with a nice wine from the generous wine list (none very pricy, all very tasty). To wrap things up, a little "dolci". In this case, a vanilla cream tart topped with... More

After my opinion on service the waiter told me not to come in the restaurant any more. We have been the only persons in the restaurant and sited in the worst place. Nobody added the wine and water when we finished the glasses. The waiters told us that we were wrong saying something about service. We would suggest to change... More

We had dinner here with a group of friends recently and were pleasantly surprised. It is a smaller, quiet, white tablecloth restaurant that exudes the elegance of times past. The food is local and the ingredients very fresh. Several of the appetizers were quite special including the tuna tartare and the house specialty, tongue and "testina". The Dorade, the pan-fried... This restaurant is committed to the Slow Food Movement. They feature regional specialties as well as creative dishes. It was. Very difficult to choose. ...so many looked attractive. We settled on a salad of cuttlefish, mashe, cippollini onions, fresh herbs; spinach souffle with the most precious parmesan voloute; stuffed gnocchi was with sausage and an olive oil and sesame seed... Was on a business trip with colleagues prior to a vacation with the family to Venice. This restaurant was the best food bar none. I was really disappointed by Venice, the food was 2 to 3X the price of Cremona and the service by the waiters dismal at best. This restaurant had wonderful atmosphere, the food was excellent but atypical... More

We Should not be surprised by now - each time we make an unscheduled stop as we drive from Austria to our home near Nice, we end up eating extremely well. This time was no exception; we decided to stop in Cremona and took the advice of the receptionist in our overnight hotel close to the historical centre for a... More

This restaurant offers refined courses made of fresh and quality products. It is not cheap but the value for money is acceptable. The decoration is traditional, restful, and the place is quiet (no loud music). The service is professional. Reservations are advised.

Had a Saturday afternoon of in Milan, so went on a trip to beautiful Cremona. When lunch time came around, I looked for a nice place to eat and found this place close to the cathedral. Classical outside, nice and modern seating inside. Service was good, fast and friendly. Enjoyed the cooking; I had the gnocchi as a primo -... More
