I had to stay for two weeks in Cremona, therefore I had lunch almost everyday in this restaurant. The quality of food fluctuated a lot. The price is reasonable. The service is average.

It was far better than I expected! The first impressions aren't good: touristy spot, with posted menus and "touristic" choices. But then I was directed to a generous self-serve antipasti bar with roasted vegetables, salads, and seafood. The thin, crusty pizzas came out almost instantaneously. The server tried her very best to make us happy. The real surprise? On that... More

Great example of not judging a place by first glance...until you look in and see all the Italian families and think they must know what's good and they did. I had Parma ham and melon served with fresh warm bread rolls.Plenty for lunch. Husband (who is Italian) had swordfish and penne and said it was very tasty. No desert but... More

The restaurant was full of Italian families enjoying local cuisine. The food wasn't the best I've had, but good and moderately priced. Friendly service in a casual atmosphere. The salads and pizza looked really good, but I tried the Polenta & Beef.

Food good, lively clientele. Although attached to a Hotel it is treated seperately, good choice of menu and I can reccommend the mixes fish grill.

The signs were not promising. Restaurant in a prominent position. Plasticised menus already on the table. Tourist fixed-price menus. Normally the sort of place we would avoid. But it was the day of our arrival in Cremona and we were tired. We were given a table outside. Our expectations (or prejudices) were soon shattered. A very tasty risotto, and equally... More

Owners are from Sorrento, so pizza is authentic and fresh.

We came in late at 10:20pm on a Friday night; after spending 30 minutes trying to negotiate the one way system in Cremona in the fog, and after being turned away from La Sosta where we'd tried first. The staff were friendly, gave us a huge plate of free olives which were delicious and a free insalata caprese. The size... More

The place was very noisy. The daughters of the people running the place came in with their friends (young adults) and they stood around talking with loud voices - bordering on yelling. Their father also came in and joined in. When speaking on the phone, again, yelling. Service a bit slow as we came in towards the end of the... More

We went to this place twice and would have gone again but were afraid the proprietors would think we were nuts. The pizza is decent (and big enough for two to share), the pastas OK, but the drawing card is the "buffet" offered inside. When the waitress mentioned it, I thought it must be a touristic draw and didn't even... More
