A good address worth a detour in Bergamo

Very nice and welcoming staff. We were 5 young guys pretty hungry in Bergamo and the lunch package that day was just what we needed: -unbeatable price! (15€ for primo-secundi + small dessert + wine + water & bread + risretto) -good food (roast beef with spaghetti or risotto with small octopus that... read more

After the recent change in the management, this restaurant has done a real leap. Few people know this resurant locate in the corner of a Street. As soon as you enter it, the atmosphere capture you, the lights, the kindless of the owners with different roots ( Indian too) that you can taste in the plates. The Menù is very... More

For somebody like me who visits Bergamo regularly for work, this place is the highpoint of every stay. Fresh and beautiful cooking that fills your mouth with flavour – fit for a king. These people just carry on doing what they do best, so I keep on eating it!

As part of a 21 person event, we dined at Monna Lisa. Despite some logistical start up issues ( they had to open a bit earlier to let us in) we had a great time. The restaurant is run by a couple and you immediately get that family feeling, they realy put their hart and soul into this place and... More

Restaurant run by a family that is THAT good? Simply stunning! We had Cheese platter as a starter. Homemade cavatelli with sicilian pesto and Avola almonds and Tagliolini with clams and Marzamemi bottarga and a selection of desserts one of which was rhubarb cake. Calling it delicious is an understatement. Wine selection is also great.

Nice, funny staff. The only thing that brings the rating down, was that we ordered place, but when we came it was messed up, but all got sorted. Very good food and wine.

What a fabulous find! For those of you who may be slightly sceptical about over egged TA reports, please believe the reviews of this restaurant, it's really first class and great value for money. I've deliberately left this write up until I got home but but still on a high some days afterwards. From the moment you set foot in... More

This place, what's not to love? Sicilian owners up in Northern Italy. We flew in and out of Bergamo airport and took the transport (bus) into town. This was recommended to us highly . Once you visit you will, too know as we discovered how great of a place this is. The owners speak English, and patiently explain the menu.... More
