Situated on a small side street of beautiful Citta Alta, this restaurant offers local specialties and a wide selection of wines in a interesting underground space. We tried the testing menu with Bergamo specialities (2 dishes per eater) and were suprised with the size on dishes: do go with an empty stomach, it's a lot of tasty but heavy food... More

A small restaurant just 3 minutes walk from the Piazza Vecchio on a small quiet street. Cozy atmosphere, great food, young cheerful personnel ready to suggest local dishes and wine. We had a very pleasant time dining and joking with waiters - thank you everyone for this.

Great place to have a memorable dinner off the main street. Incredible collection of local wines, prosciutto that melts in your mouth, a variety of polentas (local specialty) made with E-E-Extra virgin oil. We tried rabbit, pork and beef dishes – all authentic. Great desserts and World’s best coffee as well. Service is 1st class, family owned and operated. We... More

From start to finish a lovely restaurant experience...we had a cozy table surrounded by bottles of wine, not a bad start to any dinner if I do say so myself. We started with a glasses of prosecco and moved on to a local red which we enjoyed with our meals: lasagne, spaghetti with pesto and spaghetti with sausage. We finished... More

Buffalo mozzarella, ravioli and a good glass of wine from pio cesare or Gaja is a must! Great and friendly service. Love this place!

Our B&B host and a family member who had been to Bergamo both recommended Lalimentari. Tucked away off the main street and away from the tourist crowds, this charming restaurant was perfect! We were shown to a table immediately, the waiter was helpful and friendly, the local Bergamo red wine was delicious (I bought a bottle to take home on... More

A great find, sadly only for lunch, the wine list is extensive and covers all pockets with real treats to be found. The staff are great, really friendly and helpful. The place is set slightly down a side street, try to find it you won't be disappointed!!

We had a fantastic meal in this traditional Bergamo restaurant. The pasta for the first course was fresh and delicious!! The polenta for the main was at an excellent standard!! The panna cotta was BRILLIANT!! I can not recommend this restaurant enough if you are in the old part of the city! The two waiters were attentive, friendly and informative!!... More
