Good place, good food, nice service! Find time to have a lunch there! Especially if you like to try local vine, cheese and meat.

My boyfriend and I walked into this place for lunch during our stay in Bergamo, as it was close to the hotel. Located in the old town (Citta Alta). After having bad experience with restaurants in the Como-area, this was really something else. Lalimentari serves italian food - the real kind - and many typical dishes from Bergamo. Also, they... We were on an business outing staying at a local hotel for a few days when the hotel receptionist recommended this restaurant in the old quarter of the town. So the whole staff (7 people in all) went there by taxi. We were most cordially welcomed and led to a nicely decorated table. The individually ordered meals from the menu,... More

Tonight I returned with my OH! Please see my previous review. They remembered where I had sat on my previous visits, who I was with and what I had eaten, plus the wine! Food outstanding as before. My OH agreed! Thank you xxx

Really great service, not much for kids, food not as nice as hoped. 93 euros for 4 people (wine - no dessert) Kids are treated/priced as adults - which was a disappointment - but to be fair the staff did try to be flexible. The knowledge of wine in this place is second to none. We went for the 25... More

We were welcomed by a friendly and attentive staff. This charming place specializes in local foods characteristic of the Bergamo area. We asked for recommendations for Bergamesque antipasti and primi and received a delicious mix of meat cheese antipasti. The prosciutto was amazing, and the mix overall was very well put together, with nothing disappointing. They were happy to substitute... More

In the Old City of Bergamo, the main tourist path is well-defined and lined with trattorias. If you want to find something a little nicer and with excellent food, turn down Via Tassis, not far from Piazza Vecchia, about 30 meters down the slope. You'll find a wonderful enoteca, salumeria and restaurant run by a charming young Italian couple. For... More

Two visits. Wonderful food . Amazing polenta. No wine list -- just look around the room or ask Nomi the waiter for advice . He was great. Not a fancy place but I would return without question. This is the type of restaurant most of us would enjoy. Good value

This restaurant is in my opinion one of the best places I have ever eaten. Why? 1) The food. It's simple but perfectly presented classic regional cuisine. The mozzarella and ravioli the best I have ever had. It is not expensive. 2) The wine. Nomi who served me on the 2 out of 3 nights we ate here is very... More
