Stunning place, great setting, good food.

We visited as a group of 6 and were seated at a round table. Waiting staff are attentive and nothing too much trouble for them We sampled various wines & asked the waiter to decant, and he also had water & additional bottles of the wine on standby on a nearby table (must have known we like... read more

What a superb place. We went to have dinner there the other day and it is a very old school restaurant. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. The sommelier took his time in advising which would be the perfect wine for us and when we asked for a special desert which was not on the menu they immediately made... More

We had a large group, around twenty, in town for a business event. We were all seated on a single large table in a big room. Nice athmosphere and excellent location centrally in the old town. The menu was five courses set up front. Surprisingly there were no diet constraints for such a large group, all were fine with both... More

So I've been waiting for my check the last 10 mins. Precious 10 was waiting for desert menu and decided to give up on desert. The starter wasn't bad, some kind of ultra thin pasta with crab costing me 25 euros. Ordered my favorite fish (talbot fish) which is suppose to be really tender. Turned out decent, not the best... The lunch menu looked good and at 25 Euro for 2 courses it seemed a bargain considering the high praise this place has gotten on TripAdvisor . Service was attentive and the owner is a very wry and amusing man who makes a point of checking up on the customers. We had only planned on ordering the eggplant parmigiana and... More

What a surprise to find such a great place in the middle of Bergamo Citta alta most touristical place (Piazza Vecchia). While we observed that all other restaurants were pretty much offering same basics of pasta, pizza and risotto, we got teased by Colleoni original menu, putting noble products under the spotlight. Once in, we didn't get disappointed, warmly welcome... More

We had Sunday lunch here and the food was superb. We had a table in the outside terrace overlooking the square. Service was attentive and relaxed. We chose the a la carte menu and all courses were of an extremely high standard. I would recommend the morels, mushroom risotto, red mullet and the turbo. For the quality of the food... More

we had lunch there: dishes and service are just top. The owner and his son are very friendly and kind. Staff is very professional and polite. A must try is the tartar, prepared by the owner in front of us. Excellent and clean atmosphere, facing directly Piazza Vecchia in Citta Alta. Top.
