The food is very good here at this tiny little place on a small side street. We arrived early and were the first patrons but were soon joined by two other couples. Nice personal service. Our hotel concierge recommended this place and we were not disappointed.,

This is a tiny indoor restaurant, just a few tables. We were the only people there for most of the time we were there, and there was no ambience at all. The owner walked up and down past us looking miserable all evening, very disconcerting. Food wise: lovely homemade breads, my husband 's courgette flower tart was lovely, quite different... More

Looooooved the pasta. Delicious! Service was slow but that's Italy. Sit back and enjoy your wine while they make some of the best homemade pasta you'll ever eat. It's not cheap but it's worth it. I will definitely go back there.

Our first night in Santa Margherita so we sought a restaurant recommendation from the concierge at our hotel... Acqua Pazza was described as local and special. We arrived at 8.30pm and were the only couple there (not for long) which was slightly uncomfortable however, we were greeted and seated by the owner who was pleasant and attentive. Language was a... Different cuisine, not your typical pasta vongole and scampi, but another side of Italy that I have never tasted! It was a lovely dinning experience, we ordered the tasters menu, and they changed my main to a different one I wanted. My daughter wanted grilled gambas ( which was not on the menu) and they were more than happy to... More

A real little gem! Tiny little place that is clearly the domain of the chef/owner. He greeted us, took our orders, suggested the wine and delivered most of the food. The food was first rate and we were made to feel welcome amongst the mostly local clientele. Well worth the visit!

Was recommended by the concierge. It was going for high-end/gourmet but the food was ok with small portions and extremely pricey. Not a good experience.

We went based on the reviews but were disappointed with the food considering the reviews and the price. It is ok but not the best we had in Italy. All dishes are seafood base. I thought there could be one steak dish as my partner is not a seafood person. We had one starter dish to share. One main each... More

Yust 100 meters away from the classical tourist trap street restaurants, Acqua Pazza offers a modern, clean, interior and a good though limited choice of surprises. A local fish envelopped in breadcrums tainted black with octopusinkt. Surprising but quite good if you like a dark black something ariving on your plate. Try the homemade gnochi, more suntle then their commegeus... More

Having traveled abroad a lot this is easily in my top 2. Fantastic. Rivals our experience at Marmalades I Puerto Rico.
