Firstly, this restaurant is very friendly and relaxing, makes you feel as if you were invited by your friend's house. Secondly, their food is excellent with a bit of twist by the chef (hence don't expect typical tourist dishes such as Trofie al pesto or mixed fried seafood).I had local red prawns which reminded me of gambas from Palamos, Catalan,... We went here based on a strong recommendation that we had received from an American lady at a different restaurant the night before. We sat outside in the small garden at the back under an olive tree. The setting was very pleasant if not above average. The staff, especially our waitress, and the owner subsequently, were excellent. They recommended our... More

L'insolita Zuppa. three blocks from our hotel. What a difference from the night before. At Michele's, where we had dried fis and indifferent service.Same total cost but a world of difference. Mezzeluna to die for. Taglialini in cuttlefish ink. Delicious. We then had both sea bass secondi's. The one in corn flakes with a lemo sauce was, according to Sarah,... More

Oh, what a sweet place this was! We were the only English speaking patrons at this family oriented restaurant, yet we felt welcome and at home and managed to communicate very nicely. It was such fun going to a "locals" place and feeling a part of the community, if for such a short time. We nearly didn't go in, since... More

This was a lovely restaurant, soft welcoming décor. It had received so many rave reviews that we thought to give it a try. I get the impression it is very popular with the locals. I can speak some Italian and usually do okay. But there was a strong language barrier that made ordering difficult and so our dining was disappointing.

Magical food and atmosphere, delicious fish ravioli with squid sauce, heavenly backed fish with artichokes, and absolutely fantastic lemon and basil sorbet at a very affordable price. Highly recommended!
