Great food and service

I really liked the food (home made pasta) and place. The staff was very friendly and service was fluent even the place was full.

But the scallopine were by far not enough even though I am small eater. The roast potatos nothing special at all. However, the rest of the servings was excellent.

We heard this was a great spot to dine in busy, touristy Santa Margherita. Our waitress Elize, was terrific, took the time to chat and had a warm smile. Energetic area. Seafood fresh and beautifully prepared. The ravioli with walnut sauce was excellent, the tiramisu and creme brûlée delicate and tasty. Peddlers somewhat annoying but the restaurant cannot control them... More

We have eaten in this restaurant several times whilst on holiday in Santa Margherita. Each time has been a great experience for us and our children. There is plenty of choice on the menu and each course we have tried has not disappointed. The staff there, especially Valentina, are so friendly and accommodating, I would strongly recommend dining at this restaurant... More

Previously we had a horrible dinner in Portofino, but this was a delicious surprise. In downtown Santa Margherita, we ate al fresco. The service was very friendly and extremely helpful. The caprese with buffalo mozzarella was remarkable. And the filet of beef with cognac/mustard sauce was excellent. The standout was the lamb with mint/paprika that was slow cooked. It was... More

We were only in SML for the day but liked the restaurant so much that we seriously thought about coming back to the town later on just for another dinner. The ravioli with walnut sauce was superb - much better than the walnut sauces tried in Cinque Terre restaurants. The first bite made me want to order a second portion.... More

We came to this pace because of the reviews we had read. The night before we wanted to have a meal there but they were booked so we made a reservation for the next day. We ordered several appetizers, Ligurian specialties, fried ravioli, risotto balls, and beef carpaccio. Ravioli and risotto balls were good the other appetizers were no more... More

One of the best meals we had on our trip to Italy. I had the ravioli in walnut sauce which was delicious. Our companions had the fresh fish and veal. Both were outstanding. My husband had pesto pasta. Also delicious! We had a creamy limoncello made with a local citrus herb which was out of this world. I can see... More

Great food, great service. Start with the foccacette: it's unbelievably awesome. La Orata is also great. Dinner requires reservation.
