The title says it all for me. We went twice. In the afternoon we had a glass of wine and snack. Not super friendly but pretty good service. A nice older Italian guy and it felt like we were regulars right off. Dinner was good too. The big plus is that the place is also open when a lot of... More

Good food - better wine list! Wen here our first night in SML and was a comfortable / solid meal. Would definitely go back for lunch or a casual dinner.

Service couldn't be worse. Very slow, unpolished but did the job. Food lacked flavour and presentation. But was in a great location next to the marina. I suggest keep walking down the road and find a restaurant worth your money.

We arrived Santa Magherita Ligure by afternoon train and by the time we checking into our hotel, it was 3:15 p.m. Most of the cafes and restaurants closed their kitchen. We decided to have our light lunch at the Caffe del Porto by having simple tuna salad. The place is nice as a sidewalk cafe to watch the pedestrian strolled... More

What a friendly and warm place! The fish was swimming earlier, and the classic Ligurian dishes were beautifully prepared. Fresh anchovies, branzino both were fantastic. The accompanying roast potatoes were terrific. Warm apple cake for dessert rounded out a great meal.

In my opinion its the place for mussels... big, succulent, juicy and cooked simply in white wine and garlic with a little lemon and butter. You will enjoy them sitting right next to the harbour a stones throw from where they were brought onshore that very morning. If you like fish opt for the Sea Bass or Sea Bream... very... More

Wide range of seafood and pasta and catered for my gluten intolerant wife. Excellent baked fish with vegetables.

We went to the restaurant as it caught our eye as we past a side street. But from the start the service was bad. The waiters clearly did not like tourist. They were rude and made us wait a really long time to order and pay our bill. As soon as any locals came in they were very friendly and... More

We entered this place on the side street (later found out there is an entrance on the main rd) thinking that it was a small Italian restaurant and we would get decent service. We stood on the front porch for a while and watched 2 wait staff chatting away and seemingly ignoring us. When they decided to greet us they... More

We decided to be hungry a little late really and this was pretty much our only choice. It doesn't have that tourist trap feel to it and their prices were definitely worth it. We just had the beef steak and fries and it was really good, very tender and cooked perfectly the sauce was a little sour but with the... More
