We stayed in Rapallo in November. This was the first place we ate; the wind literally blew us in the door as the rain pelted down. Though it was only early evening, they served us dinner, and kept their friendly welcome and attentive service even when the wind blew something through a plate glass window at the far end of... The prices are average but quality of dishes and service are very good. Risotto ai frutti di mare - the top of the top for me :) Could be the best choice for couples, also for company of friends because there are also a long table for numerous persons. I enjoyed my lunch there!

Our favorite restaurants were closed due to it being a Thursday?? Anyway we chose Monique. Had Fried Calamari to start which was ok followed by the fishiest smelling Spaghetti Vongole ever. It was awful. So beware. Not a place to go but on a Thursday in October there is not much choice.

We had the set menu here which turned out to be far better than we were expecting. The house wine was really good. The pasta starter was excellent and the mixed fish main was well presented and the fish was cooked just right. With wine, it came to about £60 and we both left feeling full and having had a... More

We went here because of the name (mine is Monique as well ;-)). Nice surprise. Good food; great mussels! Good wine. The place was full but nevertheless service was good, the waitresses were very attentive.

Very fresh and delicious seafood. Service was perfect - not too fast and not too slow. Perhaps a little expensive for some, but not more than the equivalent at home. An excellent evening - dinner on the seafront with good friends (too good for my mother-in-law).

We enjoyed our family meal here. There was a lot to choose from and the wine and drinks menu had a good selection. We liked the fact that it is a family-run restaurant serving traditional food. We had the pasta with potato and pesto (delicious), veal scallopine (yummy) and a seafood platter (divine). The food was very fresh, cooked well... More

We decided to follow Trip Advisor and try this place. It was a very quiet night with no one inside. We hesitated- but went in and sooo glad we did. The waitress- one of the owners- and her husband the chef made this a pleasurable night to remember. The food was superb and nothing was too much trouble for them.... More
