The restaurant is not easy to discover from outside however it has an excellent scenic view of Portofino bay and the town. The atmosphere is excellent; I was amazed by the music trio .(violin, harp, tambourine players) and their music. The food is fantastic with different ligurian specialties; of course it is full of fish and pine nuts.

The view is the only thing you get from Pitosforo. Food is less than average in the area and price is twice as high. Service is VERY BAD. It looks as some unprofessional young people have rented this spot for the high season and are trying to make business by pretending to be a restaurant. Very far from what they... More

The place has the best vieuw on the superyachts in the harbour, but don't go here if you like Italian food, it is expensive from 20 Euro and up for a pasta, drinks 15 and up !! The food is really bad we can not recommend it ! try the nice place which overloojs the harbour with a white terrace,... More

So the view is outstanding...I'll go even further and say it's the best view in Portofino! But the food??? It comes from their other restaurant downstairs called DelFino! Check out Delfinos review...the food is really not good...So you are paying 200 euros for bad food and a great view...being in Portofino the view is pretty good from downstairs at some... More

With no competition, this is the best restaurant in Portofino, we went on August 2012 on a vacation to the french and italian riviera. Portofino is wondeful, and so romantic, this restaurant has so much the spirit of portofino, amazing views, excellent food! i will never forget the taste of the risotto... we paid around 110 euro per person (... I was taken to this hotel as part of a medical conference and was therefore joined by around 300 others between this restaurantt and the one next door. Portofino itself is a beautiful place and the hotel certainly exploits its elevated location to maximum effect with beautful views from the dining room. The service was very good considering the arrival... More

Portofino is famous for it’s storied, colorful inlet, collection of world class yachts, and exorbitant prices. If you are mentally prepared to pay around $250 for dinner and a bottle of wine, then Pitosforo is a fantastic choice. Stroll the small port, bear to your right, and listen for the enchanting piano playing above. Not well marked in our opinion,... More

This place has the best view of all restaurants in Portofino. Looking from downstairs you can't tell how special this restaurant is. We spent hours there! A little pricey, but worth it every penny. Elegant, beautiful, great atmosphere! The food was good, the service excellent. The shrimp appetizer was delicious. Most of the tables are by the window and there... More
