Attentive

Great attention to detail and attentive from our arrival all the way to leaving the table despite a demanding group of families with young kids! And the food was great too!

The restaurant is on the path along the waterfront and a table outside allows you to soak up the atmosphere of Portofino evenings the people and yachts. The fish is excellent very fresh and the service very good as a family style restaurant. Wine list is very good and after Puny it gets my vote on quality. If your only... More

If you can't get a reservation at the better known Puny, this restaurant is second to none. Had a nice bottle of white wine to pair it with a local fish plate and an outstanding pasta. Sitting outside near the dock, watching the boats and the people walking by, was a treat. Great leisure afternoon.

Ok so when I was visiting Portofino we took a cooking class and the owner of this restaurant came by to buy some items from the school! It came highly recommended to us from the chef in our class. This was the best decision we made! You must go here and gave the pesto oasta and the calamari pasta! Best... More

We had lunch here on a sunny October day and it was heaven. The location on the quay is superb and the tables are set well apart. The staff were welcoming and friendly and professional. The food, while more expensive that normal as expected in such a superb location, was top class.

We were in Portofino and left it a little late for lunch, but although closed, they stayed open for us and relaid an outside table for us. So as not to keep them too long we went straight to pasta dishes and they were first class. Mostly carbonara and arriabatas. Even tough we were overstayers, we were not rushed and... More

We had our best meal of our entire, 9-day Ligurian vacation at Ristorante Ö Magazín. From appetizers through pasta and secondi, everything featured the freshest, local ingredients, expert seasoning, and perfect doneness. Who knew that a simple plate of anchovies, crisp bread, butter and tomato could be so exquisite? Pastas were wonderful; as was roasted sea bass with potatoes and... More

The waiter was very rude from the start. I felt like I had to beg for him to let me sit in a table... left and had lunch next door. For reference, I was there on Sept 7th of 2015 around 2:30pm. I hope he gets some basic manners training and customer service classes.

Having had O Magazin recommended by friends who have a little place in Portofino, we went on our first evening, and then went back 3 more times! The location, right on the marina of Portofino, is casual and rustic, with the water sometimes lapping up and onto the sidewalk! The food, from pasta to salt-baked fish was wonderful. I am... More

You will not be disappointed in the quality of the food served here, but over the past 5 years portions hv seemed to shrink and prices increase. The seating is quite limited so perhaps that is what drives these levers. Pastas are amazing as is the quality of fish served. Service is excellent ---
