Great spot for a quick lunch.

La Pia is a local favorite. Everyone who grew up in La Spezia knows it and has fond memories of it. Get the pizza and the farinata - perfect for eating in the nearby square. Very inexpensive lunch, and you feel like a real Italian. Not the best pizza in the world, but for the price it's perfect.

The perfect sized pizza that tasted amazing. The menu was in Italian but I had an app to translate text which was handy. I had sausage and onion pizza and it was delicious. The service was great and it was a nice little pizza place.

A small pizza place with the best pizza. Two pizzas, two pitchers of wine and water was 20 euro, service was good, place was packed with locals by 1pm. Definitely one of the better meals we've had.

I'm not sure exactly how to rate Italian food, as it is all so good. But I asked several locals around town where the best pizza was and they all gave me the same place, "La Pia." The pizza is certainly fantastic hetr, and it's crowded with locals, not tourists. So you know it's good. The price is also unbeatable,... More

This place leave on the glory that Gino Pagni was able to create in the last century. This is not any longer the same place where Rinaldo was "the King"....good memories of the real place.

La Pia is centrally located and just off the main pedestrian high street and near the outdoor market. The service was good , the food was really nice and plenty of choice. It is surprising cheap, for a pizza and drink for 2 people it cost 15 Euro. Definitely would go again.

The pizza is nice but it is not one of the best you could find in la spezia. The farinata is very good and also the Nutella bread! The place is not that clean ... Even if you are inside there were pigeons coming in and out. I would really recommend La pia as take away ( the sausage focaccia... More

This is a great place for a quick lunch in La Spezia: pizzette, farinata and focaccia, all extremely good. There's plenty of space to sit down to eat as well, which is not always the case in similar places. Good prices as well!

A charming takeout pizza/farinata stand with a small sit-down restaurant attached. The stand has been there FOREVER and it is true forno a legna. Locals crowd the place for takeout. The farinata is well worth trying and is very good, if a bit oily. We also ate in the restaurant and it was a disappointment. The service was pretty poor,... More
