Great food

I went to eat Farinata and Pizza and they are really excellent. These are typical food of Liguria. If you go to La Spezia do not miss this little restaurant.

Unfortunately I found out that I'm not into the local specialty farniata, but that shouldn't be a mark against this restaurant. Was a good stop for a quick easy lunch. Pizza is also on the menu. If you do try the farniata, it is quite dense and a bit oily, probably to make up for it not being too flavoursome.... More

The perfect sized pizza that tasted amazing. The menu was in Italian but I had an app to translate text which was handy. I had sausage and onion pizza and it was delicious. The service was great and it was a nice little pizza place.

A small pizza place with the best pizza. Two pizzas, two pitchers of wine and water was 20 euro, service was good, place was packed with locals by 1pm. Definitely one of the better meals we've had.

I'm not sure exactly how to rate Italian food, as it is all so good. But I asked several locals around town where the best pizza was and they all gave me the same place, "La Pia." The pizza is certainly fantastic hetr, and it's crowded with locals, not tourists. So you know it's good. The price is also unbeatable,... More

This place leave on the glory that Gino Pagni was able to create in the last century. This is not any longer the same place where Rinaldo was "the King"....good memories of the real place.

La Pia is centrally located and just off the main pedestrian high street and near the outdoor market. The service was good , the food was really nice and plenty of choice. It is surprising cheap, for a pizza and drink for 2 people it cost 15 Euro. Definitely would go again.
