A little Sushi Heaven in La Spezia

My boys are sushi connoisseurs and never want to pass a chance to eat sushi. But after getting on the wrong train to Vernazza and ending up in La Spezia, I decided some good Ligurian cuisine was in order as a way to salvage the messed up trains. Walking past this place on the way into town... read more

Went here almost every Saturday this summer and always ordered the All you can eat menu for lunch for 12 euro ( drinks not included). There is a good variety of sushi, ramen, soba, rice, salad, tempura, etc. Everything is fresh and is prepared for you on the spot. After you place your order, it takes less than five minutes... Like most all you can eat restaurants, the staff is overwhelmed with customers. I think of this wait period as a way to let the food settle. The teppan yaki sea bass is amazing. The salmon sashimi is cut so thin you can see through it, that take skills. Overall, I do not see any cons. This is a dinner... More

Having spent a week in Tuscany I was blown up with pasta, cheese and beef. Sakura saved my sanity. Very good tuna nigiri and rolls. Good service. Ate lunch and dinner here.

20 euro all you can eat, a best buy. Nice quality, great sashimi. If you are tired of pasta and pizza, try it.

Flying Fish Caviar Uramaki, Hot Sake, and Green Tea Ice Cream are just a few of the options you can find on Sakura's "All You Can Eat" menu. Lunch is a deal at only 12 Euros (drinks and desert not included), while dinner is 20 Euros per person, and there is a much larger selection as far as fresh sushi... More

Waited for 15 minutes to be given a menu only to learn when I ordered that I had been given the wrong one. Bought a bottle of wine that was not even poured for me and paid 18 euros for what I could have bought for 10th dollars at home. DONT bother.
