Fantastic food, service and alcohol!

My friend and I came here for our first night in La Spezia. We had incredible antipasti consisting of 7 different dishes which were all cooked beautifully and using incredibly fresh ingredients. Our primi, secondi and dessert followed in the exact same way. The wine that they recommended was... read more

The meal we had at this restaurant was fabulous. The 7 course appetizer set is not to be missed. The prawn dish was excellent. The other dishes were also very good. We had 2 different types of pasta and they were both good. The chef was friendly and service was good. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are... More

This restaurant is an absolute gem. The owner is passionate about the food and service he provides, and he made sure we had a fantastic all-round experience. The restaurant specialises in fresh fish, and we both opted for the delicious sea food risotto. The appetisers, wine and limoncello were equally good, and the atmosphere and service made it a very... This small restaurant in la Spezia has no menu, specializes in seafood and was a little piece of heaven. I had pasta with squid and olives, it didn't simply melt in the mouth it melted my body! My husband had an enormous plate of mussels in a white wine and lemon broth. The desserts were a surprise as the waiter... More

We were welcomed by the very friendly owner who moved a table outside for us. As we already had splurged on anti-pasta we had just two plates (shared with two). The eight appetizers, which where actually nine very tasty bites and the seafood spaghetti. Both tasted great. And then we shared a dessert. Total bill including drinks was 42 Euro.

we thought we got lucky the first night so went back a second time and it was even better ,the quality and presentation of all dishes and desserts was superior to anything we had experienced in any restaurant in any part of Italy , as there is no menu hence we didn't know the price but the chef/owner/waiter assured us... When you wish to eat where the locals eat, this is the place. We only wish we were staying longer so we could be back for another dinner. There is no menu -- the owner, chef offers a menu based on the catch of the day. The seafood is fresh! We tried the appetizer, a total of 7 small dishes... More

Searched trip advisor for places nearby with good reviews and found this place. I found it very average. The waiter/owner/chef was lovely and the atmosphere was very homely but from where I was sitting I could see them heat up my vegetable entrée in the microwave and my pasta come out of the packet, I'm not sure about the sauce... We had an amazing Italian dinner in this small Osteria. The chef welcomes everyone himself, takes orders, brings the food and also prepares the food. So it is a little hectic but the result was unbelievable. As a starter (15€) I had the mixed seafood. there came 7 (!!!) separate dishes, all seafood, differently prepared, but all excellent. Then a... More
