I was in this restaurant for lunch on 1st january 2015. Usually is not so easy to find a good restaurant open in the first day of the year. But this place seems to be open always. The restaurant is really a bit retro as its name. At our arrival a very kind waiter named Manuel gave me some appreciated... More

We had one perfect dinner with my wife. Startes were good but both steak and lamb ribs were very good. They have a rather wide selection of Italian wine. If I go to genoa again I would like to visit these guys again.

Enjoyed good meal but felt that restaurant lacking in atmosphere and clearly deals with many UK and US tourists . Prices on high side for Genoa in our experience . Slightly disappointed

Amazing quality food, but beware if you have an enormous appetite as the portions are small but maybe that's because you are supposed to order a 5 meal set rather than just one course. Being a fairly small eater, we thought just ordering a main course would be enough but found it very small, so we ended up ordering dessert... More

Thank you Trip Advisor! My partner and I had a one-night stopover in Genoa and very little knowledge of the city. It was our last night in Italy and we were looking forward to another tasty Italian meal. Our taxi driver directed us to a restaurant area near our accommodation that he said would be good. There were many restaurants... More

We stumbled across this restaurant in a side street off via XX Settembre and decided to give it a try. The Head Waiter was a rather serious-looking chap but was ultra efficient and we were delighted when he speedily dispatched one of those annoying travelling flower sellers! His junior colleague was a very friendly guy and immediately put us at... More

Food was nice-well decorated and what is more important very tasty. Interior is interesting decorated and whole atmosphere is nice and interesting. Waiters are helpful but a little bit slow and bad with english .

Nice place, good food, expensive but ok. Cozy atmosphere. I'd go again but it's expensive for our budget.

I really cannot understand the number of excellent reviews for this restaurant. Our experience was mediocre to say the least. Starters were not too bad although I had a filo pie that was burnt on the top. My partner ordered a plate of spaghetti with clams & garlic for the next course which was so salty it was inedible. The... More

I don't understand how this place could get so many nice reviews -- we must have been very unlucky! we had a raw fish tartare with green apple which was DISGUSTING. Had to send it back. Had some grilled octopus in exchange (paid both anyway) which was good. As main dish we had a local fish cooked in the oven:... More
