We stumbled across this restaurant in a side street off via XX Settembre and decided to give it a try. The Head Waiter was a rather serious-looking chap but was ultra efficient and we were delighted when he speedily dispatched one of those annoying travelling flower sellers! His junior colleague was a very friendly guy and immediately put us at... More

Food was nice-well decorated and what is more important very tasty. Interior is interesting decorated and whole atmosphere is nice and interesting. Waiters are helpful but a little bit slow and bad with english .

Nice place, good food, expensive but ok. Cozy atmosphere. I'd go again but it's expensive for our budget.

I really cannot understand the number of excellent reviews for this restaurant. Our experience was mediocre to say the least. Starters were not too bad although I had a filo pie that was burnt on the top. My partner ordered a plate of spaghetti with clams & garlic for the next course which was so salty it was inedible. The... More

I don't understand how this place could get so many nice reviews -- we must have been very unlucky! we had a raw fish tartare with green apple which was DISGUSTING. Had to send it back. Had some grilled octopus in exchange (paid both anyway) which was good. As main dish we had a local fish cooked in the oven:... More

The balance between best ingredients and an astonishing fantasy is trademark of Paolo, the Patron of the Restaurant, and of his Chef. Already in Camogli they were the best, now they are in Genoa. Small restaurant, without any arrogance, nice and fast service, good value and fantastic menu - and good (but not great) wines.

Great food in a charming place with service to savour. The bill didn't hurt too badly either. The menu is long enough for a choice but short wenough to ensure the food's well made and the recommendations of the staff on the wine were spot on. I'd go back here in an instant

We gave this restaurant a try after reading about it on trip advisor. My fiancé and I have been to Genoa many times with work but didn't hold out much hope to find a romantic place for a date. Then we found this place! The service was incredible, we couldn't have felt more welcome. The menu choice was amazing and... More

Yes it is as good as it can get, the ambience, service and then the food all fantastic. We were early with no reservation, no problemo, well it soon filled up and continued to swell, we had no idea it was soon popular and we just jagged to walk by, could see it was a bit more expensive than most... Molto accogliente e molto delicioso. Not for folks on a tight budget or in a hurry. But if you are willing to spend just a little more dough than usual and you want a relaxed, thoroughly pleasant meal, then go for it. The quality, presentation, service and flavors are so good that it is a great value. Top notch ingredients... More
