It's the food, it's the service, it's the atmosphere. It's Italia!

This restaurant in Genoa's suburbs is a great surprise! Very good food, wine and service. We had excellent seafood and mushrooms too. Dessers are delicious as well. The atmosphere is informal but very pleasant. It is definitely worth a visit!

This was a last minute decision to stop in Genoa for a few hours enroute to Alba area to eat truffles. Found the review on Tripadvisor; looked good; boomed a table around 9 am. Got here at 13:00, parking is tight and the restaurant is full. I am probably the only non-Italian here (my husband is Italian) and that is... More

We were a group of ten. Everyone had something different (but shared) and everything was exceptional. My group was mostly Genovese and this was truly authentic Genovese and Ligurian cuisine. We will be back many more time. The owner is a true gentleman and the staff was superb.

The place is out of town, on a small hill. When you get inside, it's like a crowded cantine that lots of senior people and working colleagues dining there. We went there a laboral Thursday on the way to Florence. The tagliatelle with funghi pocini was the best pasta I tried so far. The same as the seafood noodles I... More

Food is beautiful. Good service. Cheap prices.Downsides : Do not go without booking in advance. We had to wait for over an hour for table because we did not book in advance.Place looks like staff canteen. You might spent sometime looking for car park. But despite all downsides we were happy to have dinner there because food is fabulous, as well as... We had lunch in Trattoria Arvigo. The restaurant is not really in the center, but definitely worth a visit for those who would like an authentic Ligurian meal. The service is very friendly and we were welcomed with a complimentary glass of spumante. Our children did not have a starter, but they received their pasta course with our starters. Pasta... More

This is in the suburbs - about a twenty minute drive from the city center. Our garmin did not recognize the address, you drive past a big storm sewer and past industrial parks, then drive all the way to the top of a hill. My husband's frittura italiana was well prepared. My batter fried cod suffered from undercooked, wet and... More
