Very nice Food a little slow service

Nice fish. Fresh and tasty. I had a fantastic spaghetti with tuna. The antipasti mixti was Great too. We were Sitting outside, very hot, we should have followed the advice of the owner to sit inside in the Great restaurant room with aircone. Service at little slow. Food 5 Stars, service only 3 1/2

The food was good, but not excellent. The menu is not so child friendly, but with only pasta and pesto my daughter was happy. The staff is friendly and polite. We probably try somewhere else next time

This restaurant is probably one of the best in Italy, and by far the best in Genoa. It offers incredibly tasty sea food and fish plates and very good beer. I sat outdoors when I visited, it's very cozy and charming. Having a small entrance door, I was surprised when I went inside with the amazing decor, large indoor spaces... More

Sat outside for a really lovely atmosphere in the street for dinner - which I can highly recommend. The food and the service were excellent - I must say some of the other reviews regarding service are a bit baffling because my experience was great. The pesto pasta was sublime (made fresh in the restaurant apparently) and the waiter recommended... More

I ate here this evening, and i must say the food was good. The service from my waiter was excellent - in fact so much so that i wanted to leave him a tip. there were two problems with the experience. First of all - the meal was rushed. no sooner did you give your order, then a plate appeared.... More

We visited this restaurant after reading the good reviews but it did not live up to our expectations. First course portion sizes could be reduced and charge less. It is traditional Ligurian food the gnocchi and pesto and trofiette with clams were very good. The fried mixed fish was excellent but you have to pay extra for side dish. The... More

Again in Genova for a congress and again in this nice and charming restaurant. This year we manage to be seated in the cellar, we were in 10. The service was quick and friendly and the food was just amazing. I had a veggie flan with cheese and fish tartare. I also tasted some pasta with pesto and clams that... More

The food here is decent, however, I'd have preferred a smaller steak that was more meaty than the cut that I was served. Also for it not to come with any sides despite costing 20Euro is poor value! The service was great, and the outdoor seating was perfect, but we just couldn't see the value in our meal.

No idea why everybody is in love with this place - by far the worst meal we've had in Genoa. Everything was bland and the house red was not only more expensive than other bottles listed, it was also awful. 1 star considering the price.
