The atmosphere is really cool, looks like a medieval bar, and the walls are full of old books, interesting place. The food is nice, tha aperitivo is really big.

We enjoyed a delicious affordable lunch and loved the restaurants furnishings and decor. We couldnt stop looking around us! Its rare to find a place like this. Tasty food. We had 2 main courses,water,1 coke and 1 wine for 20 euros. The coke was expensive at 4 euros - the wine was only 2!!! Tip - drink wine - not... More

We've chosen this place for a late easy aperitivo/dinner in one of the week days. When we arrived, most of the tables were empty and yet we had to wait for a table. It took a good half an hour before somone brought the menu and another half an hour to get finally the starter we have ordered. After that... More

We went to this restaurant in September 2012. At first we were reluctant to head downstairs into the complete unknown, but are so pleased we took that leap of faith. We were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable maitre'd, who explained the menu in English, and with absolutely pride in the ingredients and the chef, his knowledge of wine was... More

I was there first time a year ago, and was apsolutely in love! Food was great, the owner would come to our table to chat, and overall atmosphere eas very friendly and cosy. Year after, food isn't so great anymore, or we hit a bad day. They changed some great dishes. Service was very slow. I hope this will change... More

Love, love, love this place went there last night for a cheeseboard and dessert, sensational - so much so we went again tonight for dinner, as when we were there last night I kept on seeing dishes I would like to try - they have a crumbed seafood dish and it is up there with the best, service is absolutely... On a recent trip to Italy we ate in some very good restaurants. But for a combination of factors, my wife and i thought that this was about the best. The setting was different, the staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble, the cooking was of an excellent standard, the menu was shorter than most but had some novelty... More

We ventured to this hard to find dive bar after reading a recommendation in Lonely Planet. Please ignore any previous bad reviews as there are caring new owners here and this place is the bomb. I'm sure it was great before but there are some numbskulls out there. We enjoyed sumptuous and inexpensive cocktails and appetizers of fabulous cheeses, cold... More

A very popular restaurant with locals, this restaurant was recommended by a friend from Genoa and lived up to it's praise. Cosy atmosphere and friendly service with a very good menu. The squid ink risotto was delicious as was the fritto misto and our friend's Tagliate was perfect steak presented on a cooking stone. Good and fair priced wine list.... More
