We were recommended this restaurant by a local and thank goodness that we stopped by for dinner one Monday evening. The restaurant was packed with locals, which is always a positive thing. The staff and waiters were very friendly and professional. The restaurant is small but very beautifully and luxuriously decorated. Our pasta and seafood dishes were beyond superb and... More

Trattoria Rosmarino is a first class restaurant offering local dishes in the center of the town. Lovely ambiance and very busy with mostly locals. Almost impossible to eat in without a booking. The staff is very welcoming. Not the really inexpensive but probably one of the best restaurants in Genova. Nice place and location, great food, wine and service and... More

Great recommendation from the cafe on opposite side of square! Totally organised operation serving great seafood and local dishes. Most pleasant and efficient service. Excellent wine list. Lovely ambiance and very busy with mostly locals. Not to be missed!

This was my favourite restaurant when I visited Genoa in Spring. I arrived early (12:30) for lunch on a Friday but by about 1pm the restaurant was virtually full and I think I was the only tourist - it definitely felt like a place popular with the locals. I had a pasta and a lamb chop with a bottle of... More

Delicious food, wine, ambience in the heart of Genova. Beautiful open style kitchen, smells of caramelizing creme brûlée, reservations required as they were 100% full. Order the specials of the day, along with the fresh locally caught fish. You won't be disappointed!

We had a really good experience in this small trattoria. All the dishes were elaborated with care and love and the staff was amazingly servicial with us. We ended up there following trip advisor recommendations and it was totally worthy. A place to come back.

Went to this restaurant on the recommendations of staff at our hotel. Tucked away in a side street but easy to find. We arrived at 8pm and the restaurant was already quite busy, but still had some tables available on a Saturday night. It has a very short menu and a very short wine list. All of our food was... More

Due to Cantina de Mario and Trattoria da Maria closed on each Wednesday, we tried out Rosmarino. When in peak season, either make reservation or arrive at 1930 in order to avoid waiting. Rosmarino' dinner service starts at 1930. There is no doubt I like the service, waiters and waitresses were friendly and helpful. Food is ok, no WoW factor.... More
