Refined Genovese cuisine in a rustic ambience, just a few steps from Piazza De Ferrari, at the top of narrow Fondaco lane running downhill behind the Palazzo Ducale. Perhaps one of the best places in Genoa for Ligurian specialities, precisely cooked and elegantly served. The most famous, pesto, is superb, exceptional taste and delicate flavour. I have been in Rosmarino in two different times, August 2014 for dinner with friends and in January 2015 for lunch and dinner. Easy to find and in Genova this is a plus, nice environment, attention is good and in both occasions menu showed variaty, seasonality and delicious choices. Pasta al pesto and any type of fish/seafood is recommendable.

Another popular eatery that usually needs a reservation. Upmarket place catering for locals. Food good on a small menu.

I've been there in September and in mid October and both times, when you enter the guy jump to give us best table. Location is right next to De Ferrari Plaza, easy to reach from the port and from center Genoa. Excelent rate quality/price! Keep it going!

This place is very popular and with good reason. I think you would be very very lucky to get in without a reservation, so phone ahead. It is centrally located just off the main Ferrari Piazza. It is not large but clearly decorated with the help of some talented interior design. It feels a little bit special. The owner greeted... More

We came across this trattoria on a Friday evening and optimistically asked if we could get a table - it was clear by how full it was that we had no chance !!! Thankfully we did manage to book the last table for the Saturday night - especially since this place was in the perfect location for us (just off... More

What can I say about this restaurant? Ever since friends took my wife and I a few years ago, we have made it out de facto place to eat when visiting. Centrally located, reasonably priced, wonderful service, super friendly atmosphere, and (importantly) excellent food. This time, my mind got blown. After a yummy green pea lasagne starter, out comes the... More
