Great find

Off the main square and down a tiny side street. Best lasagna I've had in a long time. Very quaint and friendly. The hotel also recommended but I found it first. Easily go back again and may just do that.

Rosmarino's staff greeted friendly when entered. Small and intimate trattoria is a nice place for a pleasant dinner. I ate tuna fish with trimming. Meal was tasty, but fish maybe left too raw. The portion was very small. So if you're hungry take also a starter.

This is the restaurant I wish I had in my hometown. I've been here a couple of times and it never failed to delight. As a starter I had a house classic: home canned fish. Preserved raw mullet in olive oil and a herb mixture. Previous it was another type of fish with a rosemary orange peel infused oil. Both... More

Located in a small street aside from the main square this place serves excellent food and even greater service. Dishes are fresh and really well cooked. The staff go out of their way to help out with translation of the menu or choice of dish. Prices may be a bit more expensive then usual in Italy, but coming from the... More

To be honest the food was good but I did not appreciate at all the quantity: it's the usual restaurant where all is appearance, big plates very well presented, but I was still hungry at the end. Another thing I did not like was that tables are so close to each other that anyone can hear the neighbour chatting and... More

I have eaten here well over a dozen times over the past few years. It always is a great experience. You can pay the same or more at 'typical classic Genovese' places and get mediocre service, food and presentation. Here the atmosphere is classy, the presentations elegant and imaginative and the food delicious and the wine top notch. I've tried... More

Very busy, popular restaurant. Lovely selection of dishes (even translated into English for us on owners iPad!). Top quality food (prawn and ssquid kebabs excellant).

It's a wonderful place serving amazing Italian food. We were here for the first time two years ago and returned to enjoy this wonderful food again. The concept of the place is very appealing- there is a set price for antipasti, primo and secundo so you don't need to compare the value of your meal but how appealing it is... More

Refined Genovese cuisine in a rustic ambience, just a few steps from Piazza De Ferrari, at the top of narrow Fondaco lane running downhill behind the Palazzo Ducale. Perhaps one of the best places in Genoa for Ligurian specialities, precisely cooked and elegantly served. The most famous, pesto, is superb, exceptional taste and delicate flavour. Sformato di carciofi, artichokes flan,... More

I have been in Rosmarino in two different times, August 2014 for dinner with friends and in January 2015 for lunch and dinner. Easy to find and in Genova this is a plus, nice environment, attention is good and in both occasions menu showed variaty, seasonality and delicious choices. Pasta al pesto and any type of fish/seafood is recommendable.
