Great recommendation from the cafe on opposite side of square! Totally organised operation serving great seafood and local dishes. Most pleasant and efficient service. Excellent wine list. Lovely ambiance and very busy with mostly locals. Not to be missed!

This was my favourite restaurant when I visited Genoa in Spring. I arrived early (12:30) for lunch on a Friday but by about 1pm the restaurant was virtually full and I think I was the only tourist - it definitely felt like a place popular with the locals. I had a pasta and a lamb chop with a bottle of... More

Delicious food, wine, ambience in the heart of Genova. Beautiful open style kitchen, smells of caramelizing creme brûlée, reservations required as they were 100% full. Order the specials of the day, along with the fresh locally caught fish. You won't be disappointed!

We had a really good experience in this small trattoria. All the dishes were elaborated with care and love and the staff was amazingly servicial with us. We ended up there following trip advisor recommendations and it was totally worthy. A place to come back.

Went to this restaurant on the recommendations of staff at our hotel. Tucked away in a side street but easy to find. We arrived at 8pm and the restaurant was already quite busy, but still had some tables available on a Saturday night. It has a very short menu and a very short wine list. All of our food was... More

Due to Cantina de Mario and Trattoria da Maria closed on each Wednesday, we tried out Rosmarino. When in peak season, either make reservation or arrive at 1930 in order to avoid waiting. Rosmarino' dinner service starts at 1930. There is no doubt I like the service, waiters and waitresses were friendly and helpful. Food is ok, no WoW factor.... More

Authentic cuisine. English translation offered on iPad. Fish dishes not too strong. Really friendly, very welcoming. In a small off road from piazza Ferrari, reliably informed an 'ok' area with a taxi rank in the square. Before I saw this place (🏠 😴🚶) When I saw this place (🏠 😳🏃💨)

My partner and I visited this lovely little restaurant on the recommendation of the bed and breakfast owners where we were staying. Ale kindly booked us a table and when we arrived found it to be almost full....( 8.30.p.m). The atmosphere was 'buzzing'......and we were kindly shown to our table which was actually quite pleasant for two of us.....not too... More

The restaurant is very busy. The first time I tried to go it was full. The second time I made a reservation. The food was very good and the wait staff friendly.

Pros Good wine by the glass Reasonable prices Friendly and speedy service Nice setting and atmosphere. Cons The menu is on a blackboard but as I learned too late there are daily specials that are not on it. My appetizer of octopus was OK,the main course of swordfish rather bland, only the chocolate dessert worth a good rating. Reservations useful as... More
