We've snuck in twice on weeknights to Rosmarino without a reservation by showing up early, then we watch many people get turned away. Both times had very good meals, reasonably priced and excellent, well priced wine. The portions are small so you can have two or three courses. I think that highlight was my tuna done two ways and the... More

This restaurant was impossible to eat in without a booking on Monday night. On Tuesday we had booked and was again full of Italians, no other English speaking voices, thank goodness, Excellent food, wine and service and a great atmosphere. 3 Courses, wine bottle plus 2 extra glasses 90 euro.

It It is a small restaurant, well suited for a business lunch, rather than a romantic venue. The food is rather good, some very good (baccala, pesto) and some acceptable. It is reasonably priced and so is the wine, although with a very limited selection.

Went here with some colleagues from Italy and probably the largest selection of pizza that I've seen compared to the UK! Service was quick and friendly and food (pizza again) was really good. The restaurant was almost empty but it was a horrible evening for weather so that may explain it. Would go here again as it also looks family... More

We ate at this restaurant on our visit to Genoa. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. They have set menus to choose from and a few 'specials of the day'. Homemade pasta with pesto was nice, typical to Genoa. 'Fish soup' with tomato and artichokes was not great. Very salty, possibly made with tin tomatoes. Artichokes were not cooked properly. Fish... I was taken there by friends for a dinner. Just a few seconds away from Piazza De Ferrari, in the heart of the historic center, this restaurant is offering a very pleasant service. The menu was extensive and well cared for. The atmpsphere is warm and welcoming. The food is great and very well serviced, with a presentation almost sophisticated.... More

We ate here on recommendation of our B&B hosts who said we would never get a table for dinner at the weekend unless we booked.......we got lucky as decided to opt for lunch - arrived around midday on a Friday & were able to secure a table. The menu is small & seasonal, displayed on a blackboard - they offer... More

On the recommendation of our hosts we chose this place for dinner on our day trip to Genova. It was a pleasure with all the dishes well executed. We shared a typical dish of bacalao (in the style of a rilette) for starter. This was followed by a very nice lamb in pistachio crust and a dish of pacheri. Two... More

The menu is on a blackboard and the patrone comes and explains in French or in English. If he can, he will change things to your likings and taste. There is a uniform pricing system: e.g. a bottle of any red wine is EUR 15. As is often the case in Genova, it is not very gastronomical but plain good... More
