Well Worth Getting to for Dinner!

I was staying at the AC Hotel. And yes it is hike to La Bigoncia, but worth the walk and well worth the walk home. I had a seafood pasta for the first course - simply excellent. For my second course the waitress recommended the fish of the day WOW! It was served on a layer of mashed potatoes... read more

This is a great restaurant although a bit hidden away. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. Corrado, the chef, comes out to sit and chat to the diners after dinner. His focaccia is fantastic, so make sure you don't eat too much of it or you won't have any sapce for his fabulous puddings.

Off the main thouroughfare in a peaceful setting, this small restaurant had some of the best food we've had in Italy. The owner took time to explain the entire menu (all homemade dishes) and introduced the chef (her husband) before we left. Great food, nice location and great value.

Had a great dinner there as the menu has some different and special ways they present the food. Certainly deserves their rating in Gambero Rosso. The Chef/Owner came out of the kitchen and spoke to our party of 6 and made sure we felt welcome and if there was anything else he could do to make our experience better. The... More

I have been several times to this restaurant, hidden in what was once a countryside place and is now well within Quarto district, but still maintaining that air of village. and it has consistently been a positive experience. 1. the service always friendly and careful so much that I have been there many times even alone, feeling almost at home...
