I read the reviews and decided to fit this place into our itinerary. It's in a good location, and they take reservations. They are closed on Mondays, but open from 9a-midnight. Honestly, I was unsure how I felt about the place, even after dinner time. ATMOSPHERE: The walls seemed like they had been artificially fabricated to look like a stucco... More

We were takin here by family in Genoa. What a wonderful find. The pesto was the best I have ever had and I order it a lot in Liguria on the five visits I have had here over the past few years. I also go the ligurian style fish which was the best fish dish I had on the trip... More

It's quite simple, if you love seafood....go there. Have the seafood "soup". Decide for yourself what you'd call it but don't worry that it won't be enough. The only thing stopping us from going there again is that our hotel recommended another restaurant and, if it's good as this one, we have to try it.

Fantastic local cuisine. I ordered a good selection of dishes and wasn't disappointed by any of them. This is also now the home of the best tiramisu I've ever eaten.

First thing, reservate a table - because it gets busy.. very busy. Second, order seafood - they have a especially good tuna tartare. Everyone of our group had different seafood courses and we all loved it. Although it was packed the service remained polite and friendly.

Although it is not easily reachable, looking for this place it is worthy for your stomach. The restaurant is a typical classic Trattoria Genoese, good menus, good prize and a great variety of italian pasta mainly combined with sea products (lobster, roe, etc...). It is really what I was looking for for lunch...

Had a dinner here on a Tuesday evening. For the first course we had wonderful Minestrone Genovese, a thick soup with pasta, pesto, beans etc. For the mains the Mrs. ordered tuna on a veggie bed, which turned out to be a great choice. To go with the mains we ordered a mixed salad plate, which was a really good... More

Just spent the afternoon having antipasti, a prima of Carbonara and then grilled octopus. Excellent and cheerful service with a superior wine selection in an unrushed historic atmosphere. The port is just a street away. Dropped in without a reservation but most tables were taken by 1:30PM. Some foreigners but many Italians with their families added to the delightful atmosphere.... Visited on a Saturday night and was lucky to get a table as had not made a reservation (many people turned away during the evening without reservations). Really liked this restaurant - great atmosphere and service and food. Difficult to find, and appears to be used mainly by the locals (so must be good).

We stopped here on a Thursday evening, no reservation, we were shown to a table immediately. Service was fast, friendly and fun we felt very relaxed. We had a variety of seafood - mussels, seafood spaghetti, seafood risotto and grilled prawns followed up with a pear and chocolate strudel washed down with limoncello, truly one of the best seafood dinners...
