We went most mornings of our stay in genoa to buy those delicious sandwiches. They were cheap and made on the spot. Just perfect.

That's a little bit funny. 11 th In the trip advisor list but just a small sandwich cafe. The reason is the owner who makes everything - sandwiches, atmosphere and so on.

This place is always packed full of locals. We walked by it for a week working up the nerve to go in, very small and everything is written in Italian. Lots of unique things on display, but the guy behind the counter is awesome, lets you sample, asks what you like and builds you a sandwich. Not sure of all... More

A very small place, so small that is easly to miss, but their sandwiches are hard to forget. This is a defacto historical place: you can't say you have been in Genova if you haven't eat a sandwich here.

They make great sandwiches. Lots of different local meat and cheese to choose from. Tiny little place where lots of locals go for food so expect lines. Worth waiting for!

A bit intimidating when you first walk up, lines out the door, no room to stand anywhere. Given my poor Italian I basically told the guy to make his favorite. It was out of this world. Freshest meats you can have, great cheeses. Add a beer or glass of wine and you absolutely get change from a 10 Euro note.... More

You might be waiting for 15 minutes for a sandwich, but the guys are going to make the perfect one, even if you don't speak any italian.

If you're Genoa and want to taste the best sandwiches, this is the place. A small place with some tables and seats outside. We went here for lunch and yes there was a queue but really worth the wait. There were other shops next to it that also serve Panini and they do have some dining customers as well and... More

Thanks Tripadvisor people for recommending this gem of a place! Ate here very inexpensively before heading (walking) to the Aquarium. It can be intimidating with the que and the locals, and the lack of English, so do try to avoid peak times (our mistake). Went at the tail end of lunch rush - apologies to the locals for being the...
