Excellent service, reservation is must! Owner is great man, very friendly stuff. Food...... Whatever you choose you will not make an mistake. Not very big menu (IMHO very clever point), but great choice of traditional pastas, veggie, meat and fish dishes. Ask for house dessert, you will not make an mistake!

I visited the Osteria from an advice of a friend. Dishes are authentic as the original recipe, stoccafisso accomodato is the same as my mother does, and the prices are in range with the place for a first dish about 10€ and second around 16€ except the fritto misto imperiale 22€ but is totally worth it. Service is polite and... More

After reading the comments on this place, decided to visit. Since, we did not have a reservation we arrived early to the restaurant. The owner asked us to wait for a couple of minutes, and asked us if we didn´t mind to eat early and also to leave before the table was already booked (21h). It was the only night... More

I had not intended to ever return to this restaurant after my last woeful experience here , but we ended up here sort of by default. The staff are casual and welcoming , friendly and helpful. I was with my darling this time and not alone so we ordered from the blackboard menu a carpaccio of raw fish and a... More

We reserved a table (thank God) when we arrived at 8.30 pm ,there were three families in the door . The owner kindly refused them as they had no reservation . He came to our table and advised us choosing the dishes. (In Italian ) the only menu was hanged on the wall and it was written in Italian. We... More

Several dishes all very tasty. I likes a lot the home made raviolis. There is a large selection of wines. However service was very slow.

Had the opportunity to have lunch here once; first time we went to get some lunch the restaurant was completely full (which, as we were told, goes for every evening, so be sure to make your reservations !!). The second time though we were lucky, on tuesday afternoon the place was not crowded. Very friendly and lively atmosphere, great bread,... More

Bustling, hole in the wall feel w/ a friendly staff. Even the worst table in the house was a lot of fun. Not sure why they have set it up so that the discarded plates and diswasher faces into the restaurant while the waiters have to disappear into the kitchen to get the food - would prefer to see the... I recently had dinner at Antica Osteria di Vico Palla. This restaurant was recommended to us by our taxi driver who was kind enough to call and make a reservation. Reservations are a must as once we arrived, we noticed numerous clients (locals and tourists) being turned away as the Osteria was fully booked. The restaurant is located in a... More

Seafood lovers, this is the place to go! We had a great time in a super friendly atmosphere. The fish is as fresh as can be and the staff is awesome, the Boss included (as opposed to what some reviewer said).
