This restaurant was recommended by our Genovese colleagues and now, I know why! Surroundings are not spectacular but are traditional curved brick arches and alcoves. Very authentic! Served us quickly on the night and took order within minutes of sitting down - all 9 of us. I selected the following starters after my Torino based colleague suggested them to me.... More

If you can find this place, you can also find another, more interesting and better place to eat in Genoa. It is totally over. If you want to sit near babbling American self described "foodies" - then go for it. Victim of own success here - and the inet and things like online reviews. All u get there is tom... More

This is a (now) well known Osteria located in the port area of Genova. It delivers a pleasant traditional atmosphere and the food menu exhibits the really succulent choice of the genovese food. And all this is well executed: baccala, bagnun of anchovies, fried fish, pasta and ravioli.... I have been here already a few times, and my recent visit... More

Lovely place, pleasant service. Great seafood and white wine, reasonable prices. Yup, the latte frito dessert is delicious. At weekend, either get there early, or book.

My girlfriend and I were there by chance: nothing unexpected was better than this before! MANDILLI with pesto are exceptional, TROFIE with swordfish are perfect, fried fish is really tasty! But if you go there you MUST NOT loose LATTE FRITTO: a little piece of Heaven on Earth!!

I liked food and service at this place. But it was strange to meet a guy who was trying to sell us a rose there.

Small vico leads to small entrance that hosts a nice surprise with regards to good food, very friendly waiters and a setting that perfectly fits the Genovese ambiance.

This is just the type of meal you remember to tell people about. It's hidden away just so, that it makes you believe you are part of a special culinary club. Everyone inside is thoroughly enjoying their meals, loud in a good happy way. Highly recommend getting some traditional pesto, which is served on handmade delicate pasta sheets. The seafood... More
