Several dishes all very tasty. I likes a lot the home made raviolis. There is a large selection of wines. However service was very slow.

Had the opportunity to have lunch here once; first time we went to get some lunch the restaurant was completely full (which, as we were told, goes for every evening, so be sure to make your reservations !!). The second time though we were lucky, on tuesday afternoon the place was not crowded. Very friendly and lively atmosphere, great bread,... More

Bustling, hole in the wall feel w/ a friendly staff. Even the worst table in the house was a lot of fun. Not sure why they have set it up so that the discarded plates and diswasher faces into the restaurant while the waiters have to disappear into the kitchen to get the food - would prefer to see the... I recently had dinner at Antica Osteria di Vico Palla. This restaurant was recommended to us by our taxi driver who was kind enough to call and make a reservation. Reservations are a must as once we arrived, we noticed numerous clients (locals and tourists) being turned away as the Osteria was fully booked. The restaurant is located in a... More

Seafood lovers, this is the place to go! We had a great time in a super friendly atmosphere. The fish is as fresh as can be and the staff is awesome, the Boss included (as opposed to what some reviewer said).

You are well advised to book if you plan to eat at Vico Palla! It's busy and bustling, full of local people; it's noisy and fun! The service is excellent - quick and attentive, with all the staff speaking several languages. The food is piping hot, with the emphasis on fresh fish and local dishes. Yummy carpaccio and great fritto... More

Nice old trattoria with friendly atmosphere and the best fritto misto in town (and many other options to choose within). Must reserve in advance as the place is much demanded (good food at reasonable prices).

Mediocre at best. Sa Pesta is a far better choice for classic Ligurian dishes and far more simpatico. In fact the boss here is antipatico to say the least. Avoid this place.

Since my daughter speaks fluent Italian and currently attends the University of Genova, this restaurant came highly recommended by her Italian friends - and rightly so. It is down at the harbour slightly tucked away but well worth the visit. I wonder whether a previous reviewer has the right restaurant, because, when we went for dinner, we were surrounded by... This restaurant was recommended by our Genovese colleagues and now, I know why! Surroundings are not spectacular but are traditional curved brick arches and alcoves. Very authentic! Served us quickly on the night and took order within minutes of sitting down - all 9 of us. I selected the following starters after my Torino based colleague suggested them to me.... More
