The place is close to the harbour, but still needs a map to find it. But it is worth to do so. All the dinner was superb. I was quite suspicious how they can be able to manage a "full house", but they made it with acclamation. Pasta with pest genovese was on top. I can easily forget only the... More

It is located just off the ancient old harbor area, now over run by cruise ship tourist shlock. Go a couple blocks in and you are at this wonderful local restaurant well off the tourist track. Excellent local seafood, simply prepared. Don't be in a hurry. This is the opposite of fast food. Very tasty, very well done. Go ahead... More

We had a group of 12. Servers did a great job taking care of us and prepared several dishes that we could pass around family style. Lots of fish on the menu, and it was quite fresh and delicious. Not a fancy setting, and loved the menu alla chalkboard, definitely a home-style feeling with a cool ambiance and great tasting... More

A new city and no clue where to get a good non-tourist meal, we were so thankful to the policeman who suggested this place. We walked forever to find it but it was worth every step. When you walk in and see locals dining you know you're in for a treat. Excellent seafood, pesto pasta dishes, and local favorites were... More

This is my 3rd time at this restaurant and I absolutely love it. It is systematically and consistently fresh and delicious. The pasta dishes, fish, and seafood are beyond delicious. This is what real Italian food should be like. I especially love the swordfish with capers, black olives, and pine nuts. The staff are very friendly, especially Mauricio and his... More

it was 7 of us, so I had the chance to taste different dishes. everything was more than good. above all, I'd suggest to try the "fritto imperiale", one of the best fried seafood that I've ever tasted. Portions are very generous, so be careful. Nice and kind service (not the fastest, but the place is nice, so did'n "suffer").... More

If you're looking for fresh seafood in Genova, you should seriously consider this restaurant as a destination. I was there for lunch on a Saturday and had some of the freshest fish I've had in Italy. They have all kinds of seafood dishes, by they fried, grilled, or steamed. Service is typical Italian so don't be timid if you've waited... More

Excellent service, reservation is must! Owner is great man, very friendly stuff. Food...... Whatever you choose you will not make an mistake. Not very big menu (IMHO very clever point), but great choice of traditional pastas, veggie, meat and fish dishes. Ask for house dessert, you will not make an mistake!
