It was good but not good the value for money. Staff very good, ambience also, for those who like to follow tradition on their travel, but the quality was very average.

We stumbled upon this gem when another restaurant nearby was closed and were so glad we did. The service was amazing! So much better than anything else we've experienced lately. The food was perfect. Highly recommend the Zeffirino steak with truffle and porcini mushroom sauce, the minestrone and the desserts were to die for. It's certainly not the cheapest restaurant... More

I`m working in one of the nicest luxury Hotel in London, soo I know what a fine dining restaurant means. Small food portions and extremely high prices with nice tastes. Yes, Zeffirino is one of them. The food was perfect, service was quick, the restaurant outfit was nice and the bill was shocking. I got a prosecco and the bread... More

Start with welcome champagne, welcome dish and hospitable treatment. We ordered pesto alla genovese and the fish of the day. Every dish was perfect and real italian. My husband and I had an experience several michelin star restaurant(including 3star) during the vacation, but this is the most memorable place. Very courteous and friendly staff, even without reservation and ill-dressed. Price... More

We took some Italian friends to Zeffirino this October having had a lovely meal there in May. We were not disappointed! The staff are attentive and friendly, but at the same time know how to do their job to a very high standard. We were given a complimentary Prosecco and a small appetiser on arrival and offered a choice of... More

Suggested by locals. 1st floor family run restaurant off a main avenue. Was not dissapointed. Old style with many historical pictures and artefacts. Was empty at 8pm with only two other tables so had the full good attention of Giuseppe who claimed he was not from Italy but Sicily....Pasta dish excellent and the tournedos with porcini mushrooms also cooked to... Two local Genoan's recommended this as the best in town. After eating there I have no reason to disagree. It specializes in fish, but the veal I had was exceptional. My wife's sea bass was equally well prepared. It is fine dining, but at prices below US norms (slightly).

We had previously planned to have lunch at a different restaurant when someone told us of this one. We had traveled to Genoa on a cruise ship and it was my birthday. The meal, the service, and the atmosphere was the best. They even made me a cake to help celebrate the day. It is a wonderful place ran by... More

This is the best place you can eat inside Genoa. The owner and the chef is a magnificent person and the food is to die for. It is an old establisment and you can get the real Italian feel. They even served Frank Sinatra in the old days. During lunch, you can see a lot of Italian business man having power... More
